In the fourth and final episode, we take on catnap, will we finally escape the factory? Or will we end up cat food?
Join me as I continue our journey into the Playcare in the third instalment of my favourite mascot horror game series!
What is Poppy up to? Why is she with Kissy Missy? Is this Huggy just a hallucination? These are just some of the questions I hope we find answers to!
This will be my episodic playthrough of chapter 3 before I really deep dive into the new content to try and explain the story and make my theories!

Ollie IS the prototype. We know it can mimic. We never saw Ollie. That's my theory. Also, it kinda looked like Catnap was scared of the hand, then, the hand opened as if it were going to help/comfort him despite his failure, after that, Catnap relaxed, then 1006 stabbed him when he thought he was safe.
Catnap worships the Prototype, he is his God, why would the Prototype even need Ollie to get to Catnap when he can just go to him himself.
Most likely, Ollie is another Toy, a child like toy considering the Toys have their own voices.
@@isplat927 like all villains, the prototype will use and manipulate someone until they're no longer needed and have served their purpose. Catnap may have outlived his purpose now and is of better use when he is amalgamated into the prototype. Also, think back to how Ollie was when he asked about seeing the shrine. Mentioning it was nothing compared to the real thing. Classic villain line. A way of stoking fear and stroking his own ego whilst maintaining the charade of trying to help the good guys, when in reality, you're laying the trap. The actions of the game have resulted in poppy and us going deeper into the facility. Maybe, that's just what the prototype wants. Until we see Ollie, I'm 90% sure he is the prototype. Like Atlas in bio shock. He uses you to serve his purposes, until it's no longer necessary. It makes sense. And Catnap was looking scared, until the hand opened as if offered out to help him, then he relaxed, and BAM! His purpose fulfilled, he now becomes part of the monster.
That's what I've been thinking too! It all seems too convenient
@@mattperkins261 the problem, though is the prototype isn’t really a villain because you can see where the prototype is coming from and to be honest a lot of the workers deserved it and plus I’m on the side of mostly that Poppy is the villain and we shouldn’t really trust her and we’re also the bad guy and the prototype and the toys are the good guys
@Ratsarehomies we were told by dog dogday that Catnap would literally feed people to the smaller critters that went against 1006. He's definitely a villain. Poppy may also be a villain as too may we be. Not everyone, kids included, deserved to die at the hour of joy. They massacred everyone. 1006 was in control of that. Tortured or not, there's no justifying the murder of those who played no part in your torture and especially if they didn't know what was going on. Shady organisations keep secrets from staff. Going back to the video of the employee who saw pj and the interviewer just brushed it off as though the guy was mad and hallucinating. 1006 is absolutely a villain. The question is, is he the ONLY villain in the story, or is poppy trying to manipulate us just as much as 1006? For now, I'm on the side of her being good purely because she's expressed concern for others. But we haven't seen Ollie, poppy knows of Ollie, but we're never told that they've met in person. So, until something else drops, or mob release something, my money is on Ollie being 1006. For all the reasons mentioned, and because of that last conversation where we found out just how quickly it can create a mimic of anyone. The question I have, is why does it need to wait before leaving the property? Is something holding it back? And what is so important about us? Could it be, in a huge twist, we are Elliot? Unlikely, but if Ollie IS 1006, then we're still looking for Elliots whereabouts after all.
When Poppy screams "KISSY" it give me chills, I hope Kissy is still alive :(
I think the player is Richie. He would fit with all the information we have on him. We know Richie worked in many areas of the factory he isn't a big name leader, and he is mentioned in all 3 chapters. He is someone all our toys could have seen but didn't interact with enough to know his name and he wouldn't know all of the major secrets of the factory and he would know how to get around the place. Like our player.

Theodore thought he was going to be helped. That poor, suffering child. The prototype doesn't care about anyone, not the children, not the toys, not the staff, not anyone. It only fits to serve itself
Then why didn't it escape instead of saving theo when theo was still a human child? What benefit could not escaping have possibly gotten it? Maybe the prototype is just putting people out of their misery. It has never attacked us after all, even though it always seems to be nearby.
@@dragonninja3655If Tericho actually bothered to find the last tape in this area, you would know the Prototype has quite an appetite for experience, knowledge and control. He had plenty of time to leave this place when everyone died. Why didn't he? Because doesn't want to leave, he wants power.

I agree to an extent, i really dont think he's heartless, I feel he does things here and there but is mostly nonchalant, and if anyone that has the privilege of being by his side fails him he gets rid of them.@@dragonninja3655

I personally think that instead of a fight, Kissy Missy went feral. Poppy says “What is she-“ as in “What is she doing”. Something about that tells me that prototype is influencing their behaviour, as kissy missy has been nice the whole time, but in the “hour of joy” tape right before, it shows kissy missy killing like everyone else.
She tapped out with poppy, then got taken over again just now when prototype needed her.
There was no clear sounds or visuals indicating that she was fighting, only that she screamed just like Huggy wuggy, who was also feral.

I imagine that poppy was questioning why kissy was shutting the door when they still needed to let her down as well. Kissy might have just sacrificed herself to save us from whatever attacked her by closing off our path and making so they couldn't follow.

Catnap's death was probably an act of mercy in sense that the Prototype probably regretted his choice to save Theo which condemned him like the others for years and waited for the chance to finally put Catnap out of his misery.
And why couldn’t he do that for the other Bigger Bodies?
The Prototype never truly cared for Theo. He was only using him to spread his influence to the other toys. But now that the Prototype saw the Catnap is of no use to him anymore, he got rid of him like many others.
That is SUCH a good theory!
I agree, I mean if the prototype really just didn’t care, why did he save Theo before?
@@noahherron8452 There’s two possibilities I can think of:
-His humanity kicked in only at that moment.
-He somehow saw the Experiment 1188 proposal earlier, and suspected that Theo’s injury would lead him to be the selected candidate, thus giving him a powerful ally that will help him take revenge, which could’ve been more enticing to him than just simply leaving.
can we talk about how 1006 just... ragdolls him up into the ceiling? How strong is 1006 to carry him like that- and the ragdoll/lifeless body animation is just amazing.. At first I was like "oh my god that is so sweet wth, theo thinking he's failed 1006 but instead 1006 as the kind leader is he strecthes out his hand for him and catnap praises him thats so sw-" my mouth was wide open. NOOOO THEY CANT LEAVE US LIKE THIS, THEY CANT END IT WITH KISSY AND HUGGY FIGHTING AND WE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO KISSY...
Definitely felt like Catnap was offering himself to 1006. He knew he was gonna die and he probably saw the outstretched hand as a means of joining WITH his god. Better to have the killing blow be by a hand he revered as opposed to a hand of one he hated (the player).
Also interesting that we electrocuted Catnap, and when he was Theodore, he was electrocuted and saved by the prototype.
Miss Delight mentioned that she had sisters, which explains the ones we saw at 18:53.
During the 1006 tape where it mimics the doctor, one of the voices could've been Ollie's voice. Assuming Ollie = Prototype, why would he cooperate with us and Poppy? Why would he lead us to him? I suppose to get rid of us once and for all but why not just come kill us outright?
Disappointed that we didn't get the Catnap stalk sequence from the trailer, even as a cutscene or flash back.
Catnap did stalk us in 40 minutes - 1h in the game

He was stalking us the entire time. We just couldn't see him.

Quick edit..if you think back to 1006 saving Theo..what if he saved him now again? Killing him, and saving him, he’s burnt, injured, starving, weak. The way the hand hesitates, showing a gentle side. Before making a quick and almost painless death.
But it could also be..this thing, catnap, isn’t the Theo 1006 knows anymore. It’s because a monster. So killing it..killing him. Could again, be saving him. Just my theories
I had a feeling Catnap would be taken out using electricity due to how Theo almost died before his transformation into Catnap.
All the chapters make me more nervous for what 1006 is gonna look like.
I think either chapter 4 is the labs like you said, or 1006’s hideout maybe?

I think Catnap didn’t want to d1e at first, given how he backed away from 1006, but soon realized he would d1e eventually bc he was weak. So in turn, he gave himself up to 1006, to be a part of him.
Either that or Catnap was hoping 1006 would save him again.. and that didn’t work out well.

probaly hoping it would save him, it was his belief that he was the angel of salvation. if he really was sacrificing himself to him, why would he back away at first? doesnt make sense for a fanatic to back away from his god.

@@marcopeter7581 The thing I don't get was how Catnap survived the shock we gave him, why didn't the Prototype let him kill us? Instead he just kills Catnap.
@@HuffyPup the prototype wants the toys to be ,,part of him'' that is why he killed catnap. We aren't his concern, he probaly doesn't even see us as a threat. We have also ,,helped'' him thus far Catnap, Mommy and perhaps even huggy all got taken care of by us and he took the remains. If the prototype isnt gonna be the chapter 4 main antagonist, we are gonna kill another toy which he can then use.
I think 1006 has turned the tables and is now treating the player as an experiment.if you think about it the prototype is always close around the player and had many chances to take him out but hasnt.i also find it interesting in the choice of poppy's words when she says things like "we've been watching: "i know whatever i need you to do, youre capable" , etc. I think poppy knows ollie might be 1006 and might be helping the prototype and aiding in the experimentation of the player probably to eliminate the bigger bodies to add to the prototype without distrupting the heiarchy order the toys have among each other( if 1006 began killing off the bigger bodies to experiment on the toys would retaliate against him, so why not have the player do it since the players more of a target anyway)
idk if somebody said this already but i think the little girl saw the catnap we saw when we inhaled the gas he looked colorless and scary so her spacing out makes total sense she saw a side of catnap shes not used to

Catnap revered 1006, so he was kneeling to offer himself to his god. 1006 mimic'd the boss to organize everything. That's the only way the emergency tape could have been made to include the "open the doors" "hour of joy" phrase.
Why was kissy part of it, and then why was she helping poppy?
The swarm of teachers was interesting too, at that point were they on the verge of mass producing them?
She probably joined in to not be suspicious
Tericho, in an earlier video, you mentioned a possible secret message in Chapter 2, Musical Memory. "Blue; J;
When you think about it it is really sad, those kids had NO say what so ever in what happened to them, probably had no idea what the real reason other kids "left" was. The experimentation that was done on them was probably torture. The loss of some of their mental faculties due to the transference from their human bodies to the toy bodies would probably be similar to being lobotomized. I can only imagine how much those two things mess up their brains and make them susceptible to suggestion and easier to manipulate and control (like Stockholm syndrome), so it is no surprise that 1006 was able to manipulate them into doing what he wanted. And we still don't know WHO 1006 is, was he a child, or maybe an adult that was experimented on, and if he was an adult did he give consent or not to the experimentation? In the end they where innocent kids that went through horrible experimentation and are are still probably hurting. Very sad.

We know 1006 was up there as well as all the small critters.
Kissy likely got ambushed, because she’s the last big body in the facility. Everything is dead now.
So she sealed the tunnel and broke the controls to save the player and poppy. Getting killed in the process.
I don’t know why the player wouldn’t tell poppy “oh by the way 1006 is eating catnap right now. He’s right behind me”
I dont think kissy is or was the last big body there is a boxy boo as we see on the tape and maybe a bron or candy cat but there could always be way more because we dont know how big the factory really is (but boxy boo can maybe already be dead but we know there was one )
As someone who doesn't really care about Poppy playtime all to much, I freaking love Catnap! The way he stalks the player, his nightmare gas, his cult like devotion to the prototype. It's all just so good! In fact, chapter 3 was all around just absolutely fantastic, especially the darker elements and that PT inspired set piece at the beginning.
I feel like we didn't get to see things how they were shown in the trailers as much and it's kinda sad
there wasn't enough of the use light to scare things away with other parts besides the one area with the little critters, where they showed you using that in the home sweet home with catnap
also the scene where catnap was roaming through the play area with the other shadow wasn't even addressed

but felt like it could have had more
Having to keep scaring off the critters got annoying. Maybe the devs decided that just the one area was enough with that particular mechanic, and if they did, the trick is to leave people wanting more, which for yourself, it sounds like they succeeded on that. Catnap in the play area in the trailer was more cinematic than gameplay too. Trailers aren't really representative of the full finished game these days either. There's always a part of the trailer that's not in the game, no matter which game it is. I think they could have put that clip in the trailer to portray the atmosphere you'd be getting in the game, but getting that atmosphere right in game is different to how you have to do it in a video because one is a passive experience and the other interactive and immersive.
I cried for CatNap 😢 I knew his end would be painful to watch. He believed so much. It hurts 😢😢
So were the children spared from the hour of joy or where they too killed and eaten by the toys?
Probably? The Miss Delight tape said that either CatNap or the Prototype told her that the children were safe, but I don’t think either can be trusted

@@sboy2044The sixth note written by miss Delight tells us that Catnap was the one to lock her in to keep her away from the children. So yes, it was Catnap who was replying.

Can't be Huggy because Poppy said you killed Huggy and Mommy Longlegs. So I think there's always just one real big monster, the rest is just small toys you never see

Ok Tericho, I just thought of a good one: just like how the kids went through testing - scientific, mental and physical - it occurred to me that the player is going through all of these tests and surviving. I thought it was funny how Poppy kept saying “capable” and doing what we need her to do, “obedient” (like Huggy was described) and all of this problem solving and puzzles and survival. I’m theorizing that we are the test subject for 1006’s body.
So! In this chapter they managed to draw influence from Bioshock, PT, and FNAF, and there were probably plenty of other good tropes that I missed along the way! But they ARE doing something very right, in that while they answer some questions they create many more! Certainly enough to keep us all hooked. Excellent job as always and I look forward to seeing more of your content on this!
"influence" felt more like copy and paste to me. I was disappointed in how much the game seemed to rip off these games - particularly the FNAF bit. I will say though, they did the weeping angels right. Really well done.
The ending VHS tape still gives me goosebumps... It basically confirms that every toy partaked the hour of Joy, every toy killed a good and bad employee... and some like Kissy, possibly Poppy (I say Possibly becuase honestly I still don't think she's good-), the Og dogday all regretted killing the employees... and those who regreted it and try to aposed 1006, where killed. This chapter was quite sickening in a good way- it showed us the twisted parts, the down fall of the factory, and the most terrifyingly thing...NO BRON- MOB GAMES. YOU SCARE ME. YOU SCARE ME WITH YOUR TWISTED WAYS- can't wait for the theorys and after math thoughts from you and other theorist tho
it maybe replaying the scene like how sheeprampage said in his live where it's replaying theo's death but this time the prototype betrayed him
Wait wasn't there a theory back in chapter 1 that the one lady who runs the playcare got turned into poppy and then poppy got locked in the case by the prototype. What if after the hartmann incident she began questioning things and found out two much and was punished by the higher ups/ the prototype. Thats my theory

The prototype really fooled catnap into thinking it was gonna save him again after all he’s done for him but the moment of failure he disposed of him stabbing him through his mouth. If we are to believe the prototype is using these toy corpses as new parts of its body I can only imagine wtf it’s using with those parts it collects. Like what reason would adding the top half of mommy benefit the prototype. Imagine we see this amalgamation and the prototype somehow brings to life the past bigger body monsters that we killed off and the ones capable of speech talk to the player in agony.
I don't think he thought he was going to save him. It looked more like catnap was ready to become one with the prototype, and the prototype, being the merciful lord he is, obliged.
I'm unhappy with Catnap. I thought it would have more with him. Like stalking around with escape phases. I really didn't like the only interaction with him is a fnaf duel. Everything else. Loved it. Specially with dog day. It was so creepy I had goose bump and was not able to look at it again when you replay it. Miss delight was good too. Too bad for no Brown or Huggy. I feel like the game was mostly running after batteries. Was it worth those 2-3 years of wait? Not sure. I got so hype up that I'm not feeling as satisfied that I would want with it. I'm looking forward your theories though. They are always compelling and making the game better

@sboy2044 the only lurking around I remember is from when he was affected by the gaz. I should have say stalking menacingly the player, maybe. I may have chosen the wrong sentence as English is not my first language. We did see him time to time when Tericho was moving around. Trailer made it seem he would be more of a danger

@rblxcity-lf2qo oh yeah, I will love tericho theories for all the lore he will find. That's my favorite part! The game is not bad at all, and I'm not saying people have to not be happy with what we got. They did a lot of work on it. I can see that. I only shared my opinion on what I didn't like and what I liked. I still like the game and the story, too, and I will be there for the next chapter for sure

Chapter 3 felt pretty underwhelming for me. Catnap was really only in the final part of the game, we didn’t learn much more about the prototype, and I would’ve liked to learn more about the bigger bodies for the smiling critters. We only saw catnap and dogday, but he died immediately. It would’ve been nice if he was alive, and was with poppy and kissy to be against 1006.
As much as I loved the chapter I expected a lot more of Catnap. I felt even though the battle against him was awesome his death was unfortunate. But who knows? He could make a surprise return in the next chapter.
Yeah. And he barely had any screentime. Sure he was stalking here but like, 2 years for this? for me i dont really think it was worth the wait especially how hyped catnap was and barely was in the game.

@@A72-WJA-221 Yeah like in the trailer there was a scene of him chasing us. What happened to that? I admit the chapter was scary but not cause of Catnap. It was Miss Delight, Huggy Wuggy, and DogDay who actually chased us. Like you would think the main antagonist would chase us at least once. Don't get me wrong I liked the chapter but Catnap deserved more screen time.
1006 with multiple voices reminds me of the master from fallout 1.

I am calling it that Kissy got attacked by the Prototype, the only thing that was alive and against us was the Prototype, and I bet you hearing Poppy call him a monster was all he needed to hear for a little sabotage
They could’ve done so much more with catnap I’m a bit disappointed he was just running around saying phrases until the duel at the end. I sort of wanted catnap to have some character development, maybe see the light and not worship 1006 anymore ? Instead of just dying again and being taken like mommy was last chapter. However everything else was spot on :) the lore is Loring

The small critters are pretty much trapped now. the big critters are dead. It's most likely she was attacked by the prototype

@@samurexatlas7373 there might be chance but they (atleast I think) stand no chance against a bigger body that doesn't have its legs cut off so it might be a bigger body experiment attacking her
Catnap built a shrine to the guy. I think he was clearly offering himself to the prototype, and the prototype DID save him again by giving him a quick death after the guy had been electrocuted and was probably in a horrible amount of pain.
Catnap's death scene is amazing. Here came his beloved savior whom he served. Who had already saved him once. Just look at him, the glow and the hand coming down from above. A truly ecstatic, religious experience. Waiting for another salvation that did not come this time. And I keep thinking about that metal sphere where Palycare was. It wasn't home. It was a gas chamber ready to be used at any moment.
i feel like what took so long for the game to come out was just the puzzles because we kinda already knew what the hour of joy was and thats the only big thing we needed confirmation on and what most people were looking forward to find out at the end
I think the prototype definitely wanted all three of the main characters of each game to die. Huggy, Mommy longlegs, and catnap. I think he wanted us to kill them. So he can take them, and use them for whatever and maybe, just maybe, poppy helps by showing us how them three are bad guys so we continue to kill them until 1006 is strong enough to

After watching Markiplier's videos, I can really see a ton of FNAF references in this. The last room with catnap reminded me of the first four games and 1006 mimicing voices reminds me of well, the Mimic.
Edit: I just had a thought! how does Poppy know we killed Huggy? she said that she and all the other toys(?) know that we killed Huggy? But we rescue Poppy after we've killed Huggy. As far as I know we don't talk. Maybe in between games we talk with Poppy or somehow Poppy found out. Did another toy find Huggy's body? Did Huggy survive for just a short amount of time to tell toys that we killed him? Does 1006 have access to CCTV footage and tell everyone what we've done so far? So... I do not think 1006 was ever human. It sounds like everyone else does need to eat, and only 1006 doesn't. So my thinking is, it has no flesh, organs, etc. It's a bot. Hence the needing to learn. I think we're dealing with an AI.
Theo def looked scared at first, imo, before he ended up relaxing and getting killed. Also, was the red gas still around? Was what we saw legit or some twisted version? Considering the lighting deal, it seemed very... symbolic of going into the light and such. So not sure there.
Ollie def can't be a child and must be a toy, since it's been ten years. Ollie sounds like a child, and I will not believe that an infant or toddler survived this horror show (or, as I've seen in the comments, is perhaps 1006. The only bug in that theory, maybe, is that Poppy seems to trust him? So Ollie may have existed before... at some point, because I'd like to think Poppy isn't dumb enough to trust just a voice. But if 1006 can mimic... without physical proof, trust no one I guess).
I would also like to think the player isn't some random worker. Who the heck is going to remember some random face? We know we weren't there to witness the hour of joy. Why not? Also, the message that was backwards says we were supposed to be there. Are they upset because everyone was supposed to die and we escaped, or were we supposed to help the toys? Now, given the (probable plant) of a body in Elliot's home, and his removal... did we ever get confirmation of a death for him? I can't remember. If we didn't, are we playing as Elliot? Did he miss out on the joy because of legal stuff? I don't remember what the dates were.
With the teachers, her cutout did say she had sisters, so yeah... kinda creepy is they're all totally identical though.
I'm assuming right at the end there Kissy was killed by... someone? 1006? Huggy? Who knows!
My guess is that we where probably helping the toys and backed out at the last second

I think we have a bigger part in this then the story lets on but this chapter kind of gives you more questions than answers
And I think we probably are on the wrong side with Poppy and she probably is doing this for her own personal motives.
And for ollie I think this is a 50% change that he’s the prototype due to how he sounds when he talks like he’ll have a higher pitch randomly but Again why would the prototype be helping Poppy so that she can kill it
I think 1006 might be in a gray area cuz his actions don’t seem to be good or bad or were enough for us to kill him cuz we can see where he’s coming from

Also noted that Ollie was sounding seemingly scared as he was talking, and then flipped to super cheerful when he says his name. So that is... sus. Many levels of sus. Until I see Ollie, I do not trust. Also am still leery of Poppy, but am not sure if 1006 can be trusted either.
It would be cool if we ended up getting two ending choices depending on who we side with. Unless there's a clear villain before the end, but I'm still unsure.

I theorise that Catnap offered himself to the prototype. I think he knew the next step would be to join his master... at first he flinches away but he soon regains himself and willingly(with open arms) accepts his fate... just a thought.
This chapter wasn’t as good as they were intending it to be. We barely saw catnap and the whole time we were putting battery’s in everything. We barely got lore or anything in the offices. It was also boring and I was so exited for it. The hour of joy tap also wasn’t to good it was just cv footage. Also we never went into the toy store or really did anything but walk around not enough secrets and the catnap at the end was weird. Just everything was not worth the wait or hype. We also barely got any questions answered. I also really wanted to know more about the process of turning them into toys and all that stuff.

You can’t fault the toys for rebelling. They’d clearly had enough. We knew what the Hour of Joy was and yet it was chilling to see it all the same. I only wish there was more.

For most people who work on these projects the end credits is the only name recognition they get. Most youtubers skip over them. I Really enjoyed your gameplay and i am looking forward to your upcoming theories.
I think that Ollie is the prototype mimicking the voice and guiding us on the way he wants us to go. Tericho, investigate the dialogue of Ollie.
We keep seeing and seeing messages that our character came back to the factory because they feel guilty. Due to the fact that they missed a meeting that took place 8/8/1895. Our character also have to be high enough in the company to know everything is not like it seems but left in the dark about what actually happening with the orphans. (This next point is a little meta gaming but something to note). Due to the lack of reaction (verbal) from our character I can say it’s a safe our character already knows that the toys can move on their own. This leaves me with 3 possible options on who we are 2 we have already “meet” and one to be announced.
Stella Greyber:
Before you role her out hear me out
When we first meet her she excited to work at Playtime Co. So excited that she may been more than happy to have her voice play throughout all of daycare. She was in charge of the daycare after all. In the latest tape with Stella shows that would meet potential parents that would want to adopt. In the tape you can hear how sad and upset she is when has to tell the parents that the boy they came all this way for is no longer available. Due to “testing” and they ask “what does that mean?” all she can say is “I don’t know” it’s because once she sees anything regarding testing that’s when she was left in the dark. Stella cares about making people happy but situations like that keep happening and it got to the point where she didn’t come to work one day and avoid the day of joy.
Richie:
I’m going to be honest I only have one piece of possible evidence and the rest is a hypothetical. The latest tape we have them is him possibly getting a promotion. We also learned that his wife wants him to get his temper under control and we learn that he finds it weird that they’re not even allowed to interact with the kids and thinks what the company is doing is kind of sketchy. If he got the promotion, I could totally see him just getting the bare minimum information and working away, which would explain why the monsters are still angry at him because he wasn’t allowed to interact with them while they were still kids. He would be somebody high enough in the Playtime company to be at the meetings with the other heads of the company but wouldn’t be at every single one.

This is a side note: Do you think that they'll do what they did with chapter 2 to allow people to adjust the brightness settings? I think it can't not be said that Chapter 3 looks absolutely stunning, but I think it's a shame that for their beautifully crafted environments, a lot of it gets lost by being plunged in darkness - which I understand is great for tension and atmosphere, but chapter 1 and 2 were still plenty tense even with a little bit of artificial brightness. I've never minded having an artificial light source, with both video games and movies, because it's all about suspending our disbelief to allow ourselves to be scared - but it seems to be happening more and more as they go forward and even backward with the remasters.
I don't know how everyone else feels about it? It certainly doesn't take away from how impressed I am by the Mob Team, and especially by the graphics. They've come so far, it's just something I've noticed!
I'm sure you'll do a great job looking for all those hidden details in your second playthrough and future videos, it feels there's so much hiding in there!!

Oh I am so happy it showed Kissy did it, people were major coping on it been the prototype but I've been saying the whole time it's pretty obvious kissy was the one who attacked and now we have proof. Now I never have to see another point about it was the prototype cause kissy is in the same position, like we haven't seen them ever return to normal position like Huggy did.

As for a real theory that I wouldn't put much weight on but what if Ollie is The prototype. We know it can mimic voices and we know this franchise see's Fnaf and go ah yes inspiration. Then poppy mentioned that thing about if it wasn't for ollie we wouldn't have you.
Though why this could be 100% wrong is Poppy probably wouldn't just trust a mysterious voice and would've need to seen Ollie. And she knows what the prototype is so... and wouldn't be working with it right? Or maybe she is. Already know people are going to jump to the it's a mimic without thinking of well why would Poppy trust it. Us as a player sure cause we just follow the tasks given but Poppy needs more trust than just a voice telling her what to do.
Prototype is definitely a mimic, but I don't think he's Ollie. I think Ollie might be the green robot. Hear me out, they guide you through hooking up the power they seem to know a lot about it, and the color of the name is green. Who else is green that we know. we all know now that the smiles critters are dead, so I feel like it can't be hoppy hopscotch. This is just my thoughts, tho. At the end, I think Dogday got Kissy with the little smiling critters. Since towards the end of the chase scene with Dogday, once the door closes and you heading upward, you hear something like a shriek.
Catnap was saved by the prototype somehow... so catnap worships the prototype. And at first, catnap thought the prototype was going to snatch him and torture him cuz catnap failed... but then saw the prototype offered his hand. CatNap sacrificed himself to the prototype to further the prototype's objectives
So, when I was looking at the credits, I looked at beta testers and there is this person named seraphini1170. The reason that I'm getting into this is because the experiments go by a number. What in trying to say is that experiment 1006 is identified by numbers. I'm going to even dig deeper and say that seraphini actually is relating to the religious creature called the seraphym which is one of the closed and strongest angels to God. This is just a theory, but I think that Poppy might be wrong due to the prototype's intelligence. He might place one more trap in front of us which in my case will be experiment 1170. I know its a wild theory but, sometimes you have to take wild guesses.

@tericho i've been watching these poppy videos n enjoy them alot, here's what I think. 1006 is both Elliot Ludwig and laith Pierre combined into one toy. At times he fits the description of a murderous psychopath and others times he fits the description of someone whose only goal would be to please the children. It would also make sense as to why he's referred to as the prototype, because he was the first one where two humans joined one toy. It would make sense for poppy to be his daughter and kissy to be Stella as well, but I don't have a lot of evidence for this, if you could do any research to help or disprove this theory would be awesome!
Furthermore poppy could be trying to use your character like a weapon as u said in one of your videos, to get back to the prototype and possibly fix 1006 (maybe by killing laith Pierre somehow) like poppy knows laith has more control over 1006 than Elliot, hence why laith is trying to make a new body, maybe try to transfer his conscious to the new and improved body while simultaneously leaving Elliot to die in the old one. All the whole poppy is racing with you to stop him from doing that.
I wonder if chapter 4 will introduce a new mascot (like huggy, mommy, and CatNap), or focus on the characters we already have, like Poppy, and The Prototype. What do you think Tericho?

Poppy said she is opposed to the Prototype, but is that actually true? Maybe the two of them are working together to get rid of the bigger body toys, or working together to get you to undo whatever bindings are on the prototype.
I’m beginning to wonder if Poppy might be Elliot. The way she acts like she’s personally responsible for what happened, and the fact that she was stored basically next to Elliot’s office. Why was she kept alive?

So I agree with another comment here; on how it's a lot of 'classic villain lines' from Ollie. And we know that 1006 can mimic voices. I think Ollie is 1006, he knows of us because once he takes someone's parts they become "A part of him", like probably more so what we thought when Mommy freaked out. And didn't we hear Mommy's voice in the tape with 1006 too?
In chapter 1 we "dealt" with Huggy on our own.
In chapter 2 Mommy kidnapped Poppy for "helping us leave", and made herself to be 'the bad guy', all the way up until we finished her off and 1006 took her; somehow Poppy knew we killed Mommy, even though Poppy was nowhere near the scene.
And now we have chapter 3 which has Catnap getting WAY too close to us and 1006 putting a swift end to that...Making him once again look like the good guy who saves us from the evil monsters who are trying to hurt us...or Poppy.
There are things that are just not adding up here. Why would 1006 care about our safety, unless he needs something from us. Why is he not just taking out Poppy, if he clearly knows she's trying to go against him - unless this is just luring us into a false sense of security and Poppy just looks like a "trustworthy source" and she's really working WITH 1006 to do....who knows what?
My brain is now going in about 16 different directions, and part of me is a little disappointed with the lack of answers we got, with so many questions tacked on.
Game play seemed fair enough, and nice new mechanics. But I thought we were promised a bit more answer than what was given....
I'm all for a dang good mystery and questioning the next chapter to want more; but it feels like 3 full games now and not enough real "meat" to keep me hooked enough to hear out the "Grand Finally". If it wasn't for your channel and the theories that make sense, I personally wouldn't have kept interest in this game; so thank you for keeping me coming back.
But as a writer myself, I'm getting just very frustrated and feel like it's just one tease after the next; it makes me concerned that they've lost the plot of their own series kind of like a FNAF game with a different team....I don't want to smack talk that series, goodness knows that fanbase is territorial. But I just don't want to see another good story telling opportunity lost to just "We'll keep the lore open ended so people can make up their own idea of what our story is".
MOB games seems like a good team, so I hope they see some good criticism and really seal the deal on whatever their final chapters are. They have a pretty large fanbase for an indie company and even have a game out that can update and continue outside of it's main games, not many series can say that for themselves. So I genuinely hope they don't drop the ball on this....for all of our sanity's sakes.
To wrap up my obnoxiously long reply; thanks for the gameplay as always Tericho. Happy this game met your eye, because now (with luck) I will be able to see how this story concludes and have a wonderful story teller behind it and someone who really takes the time to dig into the deep stuff and theorize entertainingly.

That ending, that was truly brutal, also I think that the screams while we were on the elevator was Kissy trying to fight back while she was being attacked by The Prototype or some kind of the big bad of CH4(Maybe Huggy??), I got this idea because I heard the death scream of Huggy(the screams are probably the same) but I mean that's just a theory.(Also, "Ollie" might be the prototype because we know that The Prototype can mimic others and since "Ollie" sent us where the ending was, PROTOTYPE WAS THERE! Coincidence, I think NOT! And, we can understand that Poppy is very helpful or at least not violent in this chapter and she also says that she is glad that Ollie could lead us this far. Either Ollie is just Ollie or he is the Prototype, controlling Poppy, I got this idea because of the loading screen in project playtime that mommy longlegs is getting controlled. ) Great video!

I can't wait to learn more about the protagonist and his role in all of this. His real role and position at Playtime. Because it seems to me that our hero is connected to all this much more and deeper.
This Bossfight is stupidly hard in the end because with 4 batteries, one misclick and you don't have time anymore to get the steam running. I keep trying for like an hour now, always dying at the 4th battery
Aaand just now I had a bug that didn't spawn him at all, so I did it. He spawned like 3 times, after that, I didn't encounter any hologram ore real one for the other 2 batteries
Now that I saw the prototype collecting the corpse of our two bosses and huggy's corpse can't seem to be find anywhere (poppy proved us that he's dead ??), I think the prototype would use them for his appearance. Afterall, the prototype doesn't seem to have exterior cover since he's just some metal and organic material for as far as we know.
