I love your triple border. It looks great! I also teach K! It's so much fun! I've been doing a fun thing to hang their student work for the last several years. I hang a picture of their head with a small body (shirt, arms, and shorts) and behind the arms is a clothespin to hold their artwork. It looks super cute AND it's culturally responsive since they are automatically represented in the classroom! I'm sure you can find an example online. :) Looking forward to watching you this year!

I love Better than Paper! It holds up so well and I've never had it fade!
You should get rainbow Velcro dots to go on your carpet. They are pretty inexpensive and work great to give littles a visual of where to sit or stand. I usually refer to teaching Kindergarten as teaching them how to be human. Most, at least in my area have never been to school before, so visuals, routines and expectations are crucial to control the chaos.
Edit: I wrote this comment before I saw that you have the Velcro spots. 😂
I had a friend suggest them for the same reason and I had someone get them for me from my Amazon wishlist!!
It’s looking great! I love better than paper. I’ve had the same paper up 3 years. It’s so durable! If I had one little comment it would be to make the word know on your sign in block letters as well. You may use all or almost all those glue sticks- it takes them a bit to understand a dab of glue will do. 😂

Maybe use the book bins above the hooks to store their clothes and lunch/snack boxes? I like to keep the children's "property" in one area.

I'm using my iPhone to record (I think its a 12) and iMovie to edit. I tried to edit with iMovie from my laptop but I prefer to use it on my phone. It's must easier to navigate in my opionion.
I'm enjoying the transformation! I'm in the UK, we don't finish until July 19th.... sigh!
I teach year 1 and 2 (5-6yr olds and 6-7yr olds) - how old are your Kindergarteners?
In the US kindergartners usually have to turn 5 by a certain date and depending on their birthday turn six during the school year.

I made it! The cardboard letters are from Hobby Lobby and I ordered the pom poms on Amazon and then just attached with hot glue!
