That's a nice little tower, but that crank system is sketchy at best.

I was at a Field Day when someone was lowering a tower with a winch like this. Once his hand slipped it few down like a rocket as bent the tower. I fixed the tower and replaced the winch with an automatic brake winch. Some complained it didn’t spool out without weight but It will never let loose again. That’s that needs to be changed on this.

Great setup and Engineering it didnt look like much effort was needed to Deploy the boom and Antenna I know the Military uses a similar telescoping system built on Hummer style trailers that can be deployed put of Airplanes and Parachuted to where they need to enhance communication ability part of those systems have solar charging to power batteries on the system as well growing up in the South a freind of mine used to get in trouble with his Momma for stealing all the Coat hangers in the house to use as Welding Rods ! Mostly for exhaust systems he was building in the back yard for his hotrods and other projects i was over the house one time when his Mom came out yelling she was going to Whoop him if he didnt stop doing that

What it the length of the trailer when set up for the road, from front of the tongue to the furthest point at the back of the rig?
