The yagi for it is huge and can't be done by one person, but a smaller 2 element dipole or maybe a hex beam might be possible.

I don't know who made it. It's a home brew for sure. It is actually an old boat trailer.

I hear pawls ratcheting when you crank the lower section to vertical. Wouldn't they prevent the tower from free-falling back to the horizontal position? Nice work and video, Tom!
Yes, but when you are bring it down you have to disengage the pawls and it free spools and you don't want to forget to engage it when putting it up.
