The cohesion of viscosity with temperature aided by efforts of combined teamwork is incredible to watch.
Dustin, sorry I’ve been away I lost my job and I haven’t been able to take any additional classes once I get back to work I’ll be right back on the horse. I have been working on a few things at working on my fuming as well I really enjoyed this class.
Thank you for being a part of the community! Your support is what keeps us going!
Now that's definitely thinking outside the Box if you got good at it. That'd be a Learning Curve being thrown at yeah? It reminds me of working with soft glass are a giant scale that will pull out a 30' cane at 1 time.
Cool idea.
Glad you think so!
seen soft glass people pull giant cane before. never seen it done on a lathe tho. thanks revere and kornbluh. beats doing it by hand for sure lol

The pieces you teased at the beginning; were those made with the cane in the video? They’re stunning!!!
Cool new technique, its unfortunate that that setup is at the very least $60,000 so not a lot of people will be able to do this, would love to see more beginner to intermediate level stuff here on youtube but i completely understand that youve already put a lot of that out for free already and you have the online classes, just wanted to throw a suggestion out there lol
you can use a drill.
@@melloyellobellythis is the way.
Violentvegan a red max and electric hand drill can achieve similar results also entry lvl lathes are around 5000
that is a horrible way to pull cane.
