Hello J.W. I Purchased a new Colt Anaconda .44 mag 4 inch last week.! My resistance was futile. It shoots like a dream. The weight of the revolver is in all the right places. Good Show Brother glad to be back, I agree magnum force one of the better Dirty Harry Movies as far as seeing the 29 in action, I also agree the ending was disappointing and also felt like they were building up to a great battle scene only for it to be a explosion, Mourning that 29 ......... may it forever rest in peace since it cannot blow someone's head clean off anymore

Magnum Force is my favorite movie. I've watched it so many times I've lost count. Model 29, blue 4" Pythons and a snubnose model 19 all in one movie. Best opening in movie history. Great cars on Magnum Force as well. Now I have to check out Deer Hollow.
According to a Colt Rep, the 3 vent 4.25" pythons were corrected to be 2 vent rib, which should make the 3 vent 4.25" the collector variant. Time will tell if that is correct
HI batjac (john waynes ) i bought a colt trooper mark 3 in 1983, i would like to see colt build a trooper mark 6 different barrel sizes and maybe blue stainless just a thought
