Palki and many Indians think that manufacturing industry is only about Iphone, Tesla assembly lines and Chips manufacturing. Has Palki visited the CANTON Fair. There were tens thousand different items on display. How many of them can India produce in a competitive way. Can India manufacture and export an item as simple as an umbrella at a competitive price.

India's two main exporting industries are IT and Pharma. If China does not export API needed for Pharma, India's entire Pharma industry will be collapsed. If USA reduces the H1-Bs, most IT companies will loose big revenues. There are no other major export from India.

So Palki's understanding of Deng Xiaoping's policy is only half glassful type, I mean like most of the western media or politicians think Deng if he is alive today he would not have responded to US trade war or tech war or any war, he would be just floating around and do nothing against the like of Trump or Biden. That is just one of the greatest mistake anyone could make of Deng. What Xi is doing right now is not different to what Deng would have done, you can see how tough Deng was when it came to China's negotiation with Britain, he wasn't giving away much to the British, his tough stand with the British was if you don't agree what he said then he will send in the PLA to retake HK through force. I think if you really want to understand China and also India you need to look at some of the study completed by Wen Tiejun, he actually understand the problem in India as well as China. Palki talk about China's problem but she does not understand the cause of the problem, for example problem with Evergrande, the real problem for Evergrande is actually Xi, Xi actually want to squeeze this bubble created by companies like Evergrande by reducing their ability to borrow money from Chinese banks, Xi never want the big four banks and the government to keep this sort of speculative real estate company keep making that real estate bubbles bigger and bigger, he is more in the mind of building an economy based on real productivity rather than real estate speculation building on massive borrowing. Xi himself did not pick a fight with the US, it was the US that started the trade war with China, Xi basically responded to the threat he was facing from the US, Xi did a great job in responding to trade war and also tech war, his policy largely expanded the supply chain in China, and the development in China's semiconductor industry is at a rapid pace considering one of Xi early goal in this sector was to secure China can be self reliant with matured semiconductor industry contrasting this to where India and also US is right now. It won't be a surprise in a decade that China will supply the chips for cheap. India thinks it is the leader of the global south but in the global south China is the country that has far greater influence and can do more for these countries than India. We can look at the aspect of trade and infrastructure building. In one way you can say the new infrastructures bring a new loan or higher level of debt but without it how does a country in Africa moving its produces and mineral out of the country and selling them on the world market

But China is all alone.... the moment China gets to the situation like Japan, the first countries to kick it will be the US, followed by US colonies in West and Asia, then the Muslim world will kick and finally the biggest kick will from from its so called brothers.... But most importantly, Japan and China are very different, if Japanese people are angry with their government they have options but China you know either its the angry people or the government which will win.... In case the angry people win then it will be disintegration with Chinese characteristics.....

The communists are stupid, you suffered so much.... Decades of hardworking, propoganda, loyalty to party, struggling.... But in the end everyone is making fun of you but your neighbour has become a major regional power...... there is so much freedom to choose any party and any leader.... If your most people don't want to be communists then do you have choise????.... No !!!!

    • @boyzcook
      @boyzcook Před 28 dny +6

@@Latika-ln1ee First, I’d like to point out that your reply doesn't directly address my original comment. My main point was about focusing on our own country's development rather than being distracted by external topics. However, let me respond to your arguments.
The story of the rabbit and the tortoise is often used to emphasize persistence, but in the real world, speed and adaptability are crucial. In practice, being slow often means being left behind.
You mentioned that Chinese communists are "stupid" and that the Chinese people are suffering. Have you ever visited China or studied its development in-depth? It's important to understand a country beyond what we hear from potentially biased sources.
India faces significant challenges, and sometimes the government diverts attention by creating negative propaganda about neighboring countries, including China. This can lead to misconceptions and a lack of focus on our own issues. You seem to have fallen into this trap.
Regarding your point about freedom in India: while we do have the freedom to choose our leaders, this freedom is undermined if it doesn’t translate into tangible improvements in living conditions. Many parts of India still struggle with inadequate infrastructure, education, sanitation, and safety. It’s like having the freedom to choose any plate when there's no food to serve on it.
As for China, you claim they lack choice and democracy. Yet, the Chinese government focuses on collective goals and development, which has lifted millions out of poverty and turned the country into a major global player. When the system is effectively driving development, constant changes in leadership, the freedom of choosing political parties and leaders may not be necessary.
I hope this gives you a broader perspective. Let's focus on India’s growth and development rather than getting sidetracked by external issues.

India claimed to be a $3,75 Trillion economy.
When China was a $3,75 Trillion economy, that was in 2007. At that time, all Chinese household have toilets and connected to sewage system. In 2007, all Chinese households have running water. All Chinese in 2007 don't live in slums. In 2007, China high speed rail was already a reality. By 2007, China had sent men in space several times already. In 2007 China was confident they can organize something great for the 2008 Olympics.
Sorry Palki India today has none of these attributes. Modi and the BJP government are cooking their books to fool the Indian people for votes.

I am Chinese and I strongly disagree with what Palki Sharma said. When I was younger, I was an angry youth. I was not satisfied with the present, liked criticism, and longed for the United States and Japan.
As I learn more and more, I realize that I am naive and cannot represent more Chinese people.
Many people like to criticize China's system and do not understand the actual situation. China is not a dictatorship, but an authoritarian system. You do not understand the difference, nor do you understand the advantages, disadvantages and differences of various systems in the world, as well as the national conditions of each country.
In terms of results, China has achieved the greatest degree of independence and eliminated the extreme poverty of hundreds of millions of people. I clearly know how the lives of my grandparents, my parents, and my family have changed since then.
I do not deny that there are still various problems in China today, but there is no utopia. It is easy and cheap to criticize and find problems. If you really regard China as an opponent, you should understand your opponent. This kind of bias news reporter will destory our own indian citizens mind. We should learn to change ourselves before we point to other.
