Wow, I swear, I stopped my studying to worship God for a few minutes and right when I almost closed CZcams something made me want to click on this video. The minute you spoke about the book 'The power of a praying woman' and randomly opened to that chapter (Lord show me how to take control of my mind)... God spoke to me. Ive been praying repeatedly day & night for God to help me stop thinking about pain from the past that I still hold on to. Ive been living a vicious circle with my thoughts and i can't stop. Thank you for this video, God is using you as a tool to speak to others. I am definitely getting that book! And I also read Jesus' calling by Sarah every morning. A great book that I also recommend.

I'm only 15 and its hard to read the bible sometimes because sometime the authours or even Jesus himself says something so deep and speaks in riddles and sometimes I find it hard to understand and looking it up online has so many dissenting opinions its hard to know which is right. I want to ask my mom but shes been very busy lately with her online classes and work and I don't have a lot of Christian friends( or any really close friendships) it also hard for me to pray in groups because of the voices around me are distracting but I do love the praise and worship of a group setting( me and a few other kids pray every morning before school In a hallway near a gym.) I rarely pray out loud, usually only in my head, idk why
Anne Cuthers I suggest downloading the easy to read version and another version such as the king James to compare scripture. Also check out the Bible project on CZcams they make videos explaining the different books.

Everyday when I open my eyes I say
"Good morning Lord. Thank you for this new day. Help me remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I together cannot handle. Amen"
During the day when I find myself in a stressful situation I repeat the same prayer. But if the stress is too much. I chant "Not my will but Yours" over and over and over until the stress eases. And it does
And say "Thank you God" when things work out, no matter how small and I mean even the minutest of things.
I surround myself with positive people and because humans are humans and we also have negativity in our DNA I turn the topic round to something pleasant or take it as a lesson when conversations start turning nasty.
I love reading gratitude quotes.
I have never been good at memorizing bible verses (that doesn't bother me) I admire people who do. My best verses are about faith (mustard seed/ saying to that mountain move/trusting in God/clothed birds and not worrying)
My favorite parts in the bible.
Prov 3:27-28 (my interpretation- if you are in a position to help, help now. Not tomorrow).
My second, Rom 14:1-23 (my interpretation - do not be the judge of what is right or wrong leave that to God.)
I pray Jeremiah 29:11 all the time. It def carries me through some tough times. I think another Christian girl must have is Christian friends. I'm going through a period where I'm spending less time with my friends who aren't believers and really trying to seek God, but it can be lonely at times. I'm believing God for awesome sisters in Christ who can support me in my walk with God and vice versa.

God bless you absolutely agree we must surround ourselves with christ-like friends. As a Christian woman it gets so lonely I pray about it a lot it's comforting to know I'm not the only one that feel like this lolz. It's so worth it as I'm growing in the Lord and he's shown me such amazing things. I love my savior :)
I just said this yesterday, I don't have any Christian friends and it's v difficult at times. I'm newish to my church. Anyway, I'm praying this will change v soon

about 6-7 yrs ago, the holy spirit put on my heart to suggest that my father & I pray together every other day.
it turned into bible study & prayer (still the 2 of us) about 3-4 yrs ago. it's done wonders. until I marry, my father is my cover. so, I recommend having a consistent prayer partner; whether it's every day, every other day or certain day(s) of the week.

You have really inspired me to have more faith and trust in God. I know it can get really tempting in today's world but I'm so glad for this video to help me get a stronger relationship with God.
I've started to be more intentional about my time with God on a daily basis. At least 10 minutes before bed along with at least one sermon while I start my day. This video is super helpful as I am newly starting on my relationship with the Lord. I'm still learning where each book is in the Bible and have just started a study plan where I hear a sermon and read the book when it's done for my own understanding. Also, I've checked out the ChaseGodTV channel on CZcams that suggests a reading plan for new believers like me.

I am currently reading 'Uninvited' and I can only read a chapter or two at a time, because it's that good. The words are so convicting, as many of the scenarios/situations within the book hit home. I have my highlighter near each time I read it, because there are so many gems in it that I want to be able to go back and quickly read. I love it!

I found this on my feed and absolutely love it! You are so devoted and it really shows. The enemies lies is what I meant to write. The one thing I try to do daily is wake up really early to spend time with God reading the bible and highlighting/under lining things that speak to me at that time.
A prayer partner ! In my walk with God I'd say that's my most needed thing, someone to encourage me in those moments and to continually speak the word of God into my life
This must have list is an awesome tool for young believers. My must have moment is a time of worship/praise - a time where i am thankful in prayer as oppose to requesting.

What do I do every day? I make sure that as soon as I awake, I give God thanks for the new day, and for His love, kindness, mercy and grace, for all He is and for all He has done (these are my actual words to Him). I do this before praying or praise/worship or anything else because I want to keep Him first by letting Him be the first person I talk to.

awesome i have almost everything you mentioned except the prayer journal. I just use a notebook for that. My mother in law got me the journaling Jesus calling one. I havent read uninvited yet but its on my to do list

Definitely great tips! I would like to add that when I started my journey, I prayed specific prayers to help develop me as a believer in Christ. Praying specifically for wisdom, protection, discernment, and guidance. Asking in prayer is very important. When you began your walk, you are excited and hungry for the Lord. You begin to take in everything that is given to you, even the not-so-good stuff. As a baby in Christ, depending on God wholeheartedly for your development and maturity in Christ is so important. Pray, fast, and study. Loved this!

Thank you so much was so helpful, I try to acknowledge God before I get up and start the day, within the first 5 min that I am up, I like to thank Him for waking me and keeping me safe through the night, then I try and say a pray but I find it better to do the first part, then pray when I am fully awake. Thank you for being bold with your Christian belief. Over the years I realize being a Christian is more than just a belief, it's the most important relation ship that we all need. In the past I have found that to be a struggle of mine but the more I read the bible, pray, serve the Lord, and worship him more it has become natural for me to share the word of God with others. I know you said that you don't watch TV a lot but if you would like a Christian show I recommend the Harvest Show. I don't have cable, I have an antena so for me it's on the channel WHME but it's also on cable. Your videos are so helpful! I've only watched 2 so far but I love them☺
I get up every day and start my day with God by reading a devotional.I then listen to worship music as I get dressed and on my way to work. It's great and puts me in the right frame of mind to get to work and love people.

I was just on CZcams and I came across your page and I immediately followed you tomorrow I'll be off to a bookstore for some new things to read. I've always known the Lord for myself of course there have been times when I've fallen off but who doesn't but as a 25 year old I want to continue to grow in the Lord and do and be better

YouVersion has been so vital in the past year as it relates to growing closer to God. The Bible plans are so amazing, they're great for people who want to dive into God's word but aren't sure where to start. I've heard so many good things about Sarah Young's Jesus Calling, definitely need to get my hands on it soon!

For many years I have made worship music as my habit( I say this as a worship team member). Listening to praise and worship songs and gratitude help me be in tune with the word of God and it helps me be connected to the Holy Spirit. I am only a young teen and I have been worrying a lot lately and have slowly been walking away from God but I was going to get of CZcams and I noticed that after I listened to a few Christian songs my whole CZcams recommendations were a mixture of normal videos and Christian videos and they all seemed to be videos that I have interest in and your video is the one that kinda spoke to me the most and it really helps :)

I'm so happy I found your channel, I have always labelled myself a Christian but it's only recently that I have started to work on following Christ,seeking his kingdom and his righteousness,and my boyfriend and I have actually started cleaning up our act and following Christ and leaving the relationship for God to deal with, we are definitely abstinent and I think if I get him to watch your videos with me we can constantly have something that always brings us close but most importantly brings us closer to God, the word says in Ecclesiastes 4:12 a cord of three strands is not easily broken
