  • How we see circumstances impacts how we feel. But it’s hard to see the bright side in the middle of a bad situation. God’s will for us is to give thanks in all things. How do we do that in death or sickness or unexplainable loss? This video reveals how we can see the sun through the clouds of life.

In good times and bad, we can find comfort in the knowledge that our all wise and loving Creator Father is completely Sovereign. It does not take Him by surprise. He is not unsettled by life's events. He has great mercy and compassion, in good times and bad, because His love never fails.

My favorite verses in all of the Bible… speak them every day and live by them. Always, all the time because it’s God’s will. Thank you Lord!

Amen. ❤️🙏 Glory to God! As it is written, Give thanks to God for He is good! His kindness endures forever!
We live in a broken world, hence full of troubles. But the battle belongs to God. All we need to do is to be still as we remain in Him.
"Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer."

Amen. 🙏🏽❤️ Praise God. 🙌🏾 A word well spoken as I have realized - there is spiritual war going (troubles) (Ephesians 6:10-18) - and us to be still (Exodus 14:14 ) is a memory verse I memorized years ago which I believe we should always do -
I’d found out focus got off in some surprise sneaky attacks of trials (“to be still as remain in Him”)
      - realized (“persevere in prayer”) meditation and prayer time had become off balance in regular schedule timeliness w/God - I had become open for spiritual attacks/wounds recognize now.
      - my glass as mentioned in devotional had become half empty / instead of half full. As being I am analyzmyself now to get back balance physically & I emotional w/ His peace and growth through the power of His Holy Spirit direction.
(1 Thessalonians 5 ) giving thanks in all things - I understanding leaving room for spiritual growth in our daily walk as He reveals in spiritual maturity.
As I look forward to 1Thessalonians. 5::16-18 in addition to 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 becomes walk of total faith having no fear. James states faith has no room for fear - thanks God as unveiling hidden areas to let go of to Him. I love the Word of God. His everlasting love.❤️

@@drusillaeliad9629 We all falter with our faith at times but what matters is that we keep on striving and enduring with Him. Although I'm incredibly thankful that God has bestowed many blessings on me & I know things could be so much worse.
I'm really struggling. Please pray that I find the strength to keep going. I am so very exhausted & just want to go home & see the Lord. I can't find a reason to keep going. I have no intentions of suicide, but I just don't have a will to live. Please don't say that things will get better. I can't prevent my loved ones from dying, bring anyone back from the dead. Although I've experienced many blessings & miracles while living with a chronic illness I'll always live with it. Please pray that I have the will to keep going despite knowing I'm fighting battles I can't win.

@@ourdailybread Thank you so much. I've always been full of hope & optimism. I looked to Job as my hero & believed with all my heart that I'd be blessed here on earth. Now I just feel like the Israelites who escaped slavery only to wander in the desert for the rest of their lives.
I just want to be okay knowing that I may never see the promised land here on earth. I need to be content with wandering in the wilderness.

I don't know any details of your situation but so many scholarships & grants are unused because people don't know about them. There are so many categories that people never consider. Other than merit & need based options scholarships are available for a seemingly infinite variety of hobbies & interests. Most only require an essay. Start with the college's financial aid office as they keep a list of all of the scholarship & grants available. Check out websites like Access Scholarships search Bing for unusual or weird scholarships. You'll find scholarships offered for being over 6'2, writing about fire safety, vegetarian, they even offer scholarships for dog lovers. Think about his hobbies there are so many offered for those who have artistic talent like the create a greetings card scholarship. Leave no stone unturned. Deadlines should be approaching soon so start search ASAP.
