Oohh this is so healing for the soul. I wish more people will realize the key to healing is thankfulness to God, yes...keep me reminding God of 1 thessalonians 5:16-18, 2 corinthians 6:14-15, matthew 6:24, 1 john 3:10, binding to pray without ceasing in thanksgiving for myself, my friends, family, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ while binding all to be grateful to God under all circumstances, while loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those not praying and being thankful, in the name and blood of Christ, putting ingratitude under the feet of Christ and bound to the pit of hell! So true, thanks Peter for the reminder. I believe God sends a message in many ways...Just as he did here. I do forget to pray in all circumstances. When things aren’t so good, I seem to pray and ask for his guidance, his help, and for him to tell me what to do. My oh my I’ve had some doozies! Then, when things are good is when I seem to forget the most. Then at the end of the day I feel so guilty! Guilty for not thinking of him, guilty for not giving thanks for a GOOD day. It’s kinda like being taken for granted...our father is the last person I want to do that too!! So yep, I need to stay in the word! Thank you Peter
Praying continually is something I am working on. Giving thanks through hard times is not easy sometimes but I try to look for something good in those situations to be thankful for. God is good. :)
Thank you Peter! I love these verses but I've forgotten them esp in this long season of trials n illness overflowing n its hard sometimes to know why n what God has planned. Thank you for this reminder that He is good and He reminds us in His Word how we hold on in these trials. God bless you n Mary!

I've always been a 'pray without ceasing' kinda gal - I just naturally speak to God throughout the day, and many times I pray what I once heard referred to as 'arrow prayers', eg quick prayers in response to whatever is happening. I also find that praying through the day will lead to thanks for at least *one* thing but often *many* things. I thank God for this podcast, Peter! *Disclaimer: I don't have rejoicing/praying/thanking off-pat all the time, in case it sounds like that 🤭😁 but that is my usual state. (Even if I'm praying to have a good ol' moan to my Father!)
