Hey everyone, some of you may consider this a "remake" of the old Triggered and Mind Blowing videos of Mario 3D Land. Those videos are very dated now, so I thought it'd be fun to re-create them with higher resolution with the game, a better mic, a much more polished and full script, and no 4 minute Lootcrate ad ;)
I don't intend on re-creating all of the older Triggered/Mind Blowing videos, but from time to time I'd like to go back to the ones that could really use a polish up. Thanks for watching, and I'll be back next week to stream the Mario Strikers demo and more!

I was 13 years old and had only completed 1 year of high school when the Mario 3D Land Triggered video released. I finished college yesterday and I am now 18 watching a much more polished reboot of said video from 2016. This was nostalgic to watch.

I loved this game when I first played it years ago It does hold up for me to this day but I much rather play 3D World on the switch but I'd like to play through 3D land again some day!

I love the final Bowser fight in this game. The DK homage and the final run on the bridge are such memorable moments.
1:21 fun fact, you actually can move in more than 8 directions by just facing in a direction off the 8 directional axis (ex by standing on a rotating platform) and then rolling.
1:38 you're also probably not going to get a game over ever because there's an infinite lives trick available in like the second level

Super Mario 3D Land was actually NB's first Triggered and Mind Blowing video. I was not expecting a remake of both, but it is most certainly welcome!

3DL was a part of my childhood and Its a pretty solid Mario game! It has lots of pros and cons, but 3DL has a better background than 3DW (3DW at lots of parts look like a platforming void, but it was a Wii U game... So what do we expect)

@Lucas The Phantom Thief lots of levels tend to be floating elemental islands (3DL was the same, just did it slot less) but there are quite a few levels that do an outstanding job on background... Like the beach or swamp levels (and circus levels ect.) But the more you progress through the game, the more you notice the lack in depth in the background. Its a minor thing to accuse, but its true, 3DW definitely has a better world map though (nobody can say it doesn't)

One small detail that I really appriciate is that all of the special world's hub music are remixes of their non special world counterparts. Except for Special 8 but that gets a pass because it is indeed quite the bop

Mario 3D land is nostalgic for me. Not only was it the first 3DS I had when it came out, but it was one of my favorites too. Dang I feel old, when it came out I was like 9 or 10, now I'm 20 😂

3d Land was my first Mario Game that I got 2014, that was 8 years ago, damn, life goes quick 😅😅😥😰
Oh my god 3D Land is so much nostalgia. It has so much references, exploration and replay value. I mean I believed I 100% finished the game for a long time, but turns out that if you never make the White Tanooki suit Box appear, your five stars become shiny stars, meaning I have to go through the whole game again (because that can't work on my 99% save file where I did make the White Tanooki suit appear), and it's honestly great because it gives me a goal, something to go towards to, that won't make starting from the beginning boring after all these years. And I would do that if I still had a properly working 3ds. Which I actually do but can't reach because toxic parents oblige. I'm 19 but they still want to have control me over things that they aren't even the ones to have bought these. Sucks.
I was just playing through my old ds games, found this and played up until S8 crown and beat that just before you uploaded this vid! I actually really like this game its a nice break with the shorter levels. Anyway, great video as always, keep up the good work!
The blandness is what kills it for me, this is just New Super in 3D, and we all know Mario can be much better than that, ESPECIALLY with the locales.

3D Land is a good game, the game is really fun and the level design is well thought out for the 3DS. But most of the levels are uninspired and look like NSMB levels and the bosses are use to much, i wish they put more original bosses than just Boom Boom and Pom Pom
Bro the fact that this game is running 3ds and has 9 and 9 reverse worlds, and so much to play, and never get tired, its so awesome, im still impressed how this run in a 3ds

As a kid in 2 grade. Hearing you could unlock Luigi and 8 more worlds was so mind blowing. This One of my favorite childhood memories
It was bound to be overshadowed by 3d world, but this game is so much fun and doesn’t deserve nearly as much hate as it gets. Yes it has its issues, but it’s still a fun experience

While definitely the weakest 3D Mario, I had a lot of fun playing it for the first time! Seeing this reminded me of the good times; I also remember really liking the camera angles, the story cutscenes and the final Bowser fight is a sleeper hit
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that shortcut at the beginning of 7-1.
The pros and cons of 3D Land:
Pro: Very fun and fast paced levels
Con: they can end too quickly
Pro: Catchy music
Con: some songs are repeated too much
Pro: Saved the 3DS
Con: 3D world is a lot better
Overall I love 3D land. More than odyssey (which is weird to say) the game is simple yet creative giving it a lot of replayability
Con: 95% of Mario games are better
Tbh, 3DW isnt that much better than 3DL, its kinda the same thing, and 3DW is way easier (that's kinda bad) and above reply is right, NSMB/Wii and well, basically lots of Mario games are more superior than 3DW and 3DL. Don't let the fact that its 3D blind you

It’s been so long since I’ve played Super Mario 3D land! I had good times when I used to play it. Now I play the switch. I think I should go play my 3DS again.
Thinking of getting my sister this game for her birthday in November. The reason why I’m preparing months in advance is because I want to get it while it’s still affordable, since the 3DS is dead.

I LOVED this game as a kid. Along with new super Mario bros 2. I still have my 2DS and like it better than my switch because the games are so charming and nostalgic. I hope it gets fixed soon, I need to go to my new leaf town 😭

I really like the 3D on the 3DS especially in Super Mario 3D Land but my old New 3DS XL's screen is kind of scratched a little bit and the scratches really show when I have the 3d turned on
