Definitely need to do this on a field. I feel like the machine is good at showing the difference between hits on the same type of ball, but with different weights, I don’t think it’s calibrated for that. I think it measures velocity and angle to give a number, but that won’t work with balls of different mass.

ya thats 100% the case. It thinks its a baseball. The ball is actually probably coming off that hot but the distance is not true at all.

I hit a golf ball with a metal baseball bat once and it went so far I never found it.
When I was a teenager my family was playing whiffle ball. I hit one really hard and the ball split in two each half flying in different directions. That killed the family activity. We didn’t have an extra ball.

As someone who has never played baseball, Im always amazing when i see people consistently CRUSH baseballs. I can’t even hit it regularly let alone launch it hundreds of feet.

The lighter balls have high EV but the distance isnt accurate because the machine thinks its a baseball being hit that hard.
you should try the moon bounce ball and a lacross ball, both of those are SUPER bouncy

The system you're using is calibrated for baseballs, any ball with less density will travel a shorter distance than calculated
The issue with the tee ball is that they're designed to have very low exit velo for safety reasons, since they're meant for children
