Samw here! I finished it a few days ago and I’m on a major withdrawal syndrome right now and all I can do now is watching all videos and interviews on them and listen to all kinds of podcasts about TXF.
well they have been together doing the show/movies for a decade, so they were close for a while, and I think their time apart after the show let any bad rubbing due to such close contact fade away and only the good thoughts and fun are left. Plus she's still sexy and funny and beautiful, that sure doesn't hurt either.
I have to admit, even after all these years, The X-Files, Seasons 1-9, remains my favorite dramatic TV show. The chemistry between David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson is breathtaking. I’m especially enjoying this video while sheltering at home with my cat, listening to rain on the roof, remembering how much I enjoyed the ‘90s, and wondering what life will be like after the pandemic. Stay safe and be well. I still want to believe.
I'm shocked that David is so much like Mulder. It's awesome that's his real personality he's so cool lol. On the other hand, Gillian is really nothing like Scully. EXCEPT the fact she prepared all the questions and he just winged it off her notes...that was classic Scully and Mulder!
This is one of the most natural chats between two "stars" I've ever seen ... Getting them to interact with EACH OTHER for a large portion of this rather than the audience made it SO fascinating and interesting ...
When someone from the audience asks David, 'Do you know what it is?' at 57'18" - that's ME! I was there in the front row, all the way from England. I met David, Gillian and Chris. Happy memories! Thank you for the video!
Gillian Anderson used to be and still is my ideal woman since my childhood, and I always wanted to be like David Duchovny, since my childhood too. XFiles really picked the right duo for the show. Id love to see more of them

How awkward was it when they talk about Gillian telling David she was pregnant at around 59:00? I have no idea WHY it was awkward...but it totally was. And why the hell would his knees go out? Wasn't his baby... Lol.
@@amandas444 No. He was shocked because of the possible implications for the show. They both would have been wondering if Gillian would have to leave or if it would spell the end for the show. She became pregnant BEFORE it was a hit show.
He always does that. I was there, in the front row. As soon as the stage cleared, my companion rushed up on stage and stole David's water glass for her collection!
Very interesting that Gil speaks "American " in this where her normal voice is English accent. I wonder, over the years, if she speaks in the accent of what she's being interviewed in/on? She really carried David in this. She went on to more really good roles over the years, as an outstanding actor; he didn't. 🙄
Gillian did not, 'carry,' David in this. They both won awards and many plaudits for The X-Files. No one could have played Fox Mulder like David did. David's acting is just very subtle. I'm sorry you can't appreciate that. Yes, Gillian has done amazing things with her acting career, but David, (alongside acting,) has been accomplished in writing novels, directing and writing and performing his music. It's not a competition you know. They are both very talented people.
No wonder they could not remember things from their Vancouver, BC experience. There is nothing impressive or special in Vancouver anyway; definitely not the people.
