Dude best starfield videos I’ve seen keep going. Plz do a mantis video for the ship build plz
Thank you so much for making this, the lack of tutorials in this game is astonishing!
for those struggling to find "habs" you need to select "ship builder" and not "upgrade ship" then when in an open space you can select "add" to have the option to cycle through to "habs"
THANK YOU! I've been going crazy trying to figure out how to add new parts.
Thanks from me too, i was stuck as well.
Bro i was going crazy. You a real one
U the truth
I'm really starting to think this isn't an option for console. Its really annoying me
Hands down this was one of the most clean-cut explanations on ship building. They should have put this as their tutorial on how to build and customize ships.
It's Xbox (they don't do things that make sense!). Haven't played this, but Starfield looks pretty impressive 👌
Agreed!
Please do this exact ship tutorial, but for the Mantis ship!!! I’m guessing most people will have this after the first 15 hours of playing.
Yes pls
Yes I just lost guns I planned to sell for quick cash because there is a bug in the gun racks😂😭😭
I had a sad hoarders amount.
Now I'm l looking to add storage
Idk if you guys need this information anymore, but you can completely delete every part of the mantis and rebuild it how you want and it'll keep the perk
On PC, double left click to select all for your ship. The game doesn't tell you for some reason.
Thank you!
thank you so much
Thx alot!
You're a legend
Legend
Can’t get this to work. No menu of hab options. What am I missing?
Edit. If building move cursor to blank part of screen. An Add option then appears
Thank you !
Thank you! I was scratching my head on that one
thank you for your comment I couldnt figure this out for the life of me
@@nike6points yeah I was getting pretty mad at it. Once I figured it out I knew others would have gone through the same thing 😁
OMG thank you. Liked and subscribed bc that actually made sense. Holy F…😵
Thank you. I found the ship building a little overwhelming and this video has helped a lot. Just some simple advice about early upgrades.
Helped me loads too I hadn't a clue what I was doing
God this is so clean cut and straight to the point. I want to upgrade the frontier to get the feel for ship design and this is exactly the tutorial I needed!
Could you do one for the Mantis? I love the special dialogue you get using the Mantis, but the cargo space leaves much to be desired. Thank you!
I have found the same configuration elsewhere but guess what? Yours was, by far, the clearest and most useful step by step guide I have found. The bit about clicking on the pods (or whatever they are called) until they came up as what I want would have saved me an hour of raving at the screen if I had come to you first. Good work!
Thank you! This was a very helpful video. I had a lot of trouble attaching the new weapons to their hardpoints. It was impossible to simply snap them in place under the access ramp. Instead I found that hovering over the ramp with the cursor brought up an "attach" option, which I selected, then selected the weapon to place there. That will probably be good info for anyone having difficulty getting their ship parts to snap to the intended location. Thanks again and safe travels!
Thanks a lot. The ship builder seemed really daunting to me but now ive copied this design of yours i feel comfortable coming up with my own in future.
Hands down, the best ship upgrading advice I’ve found yet! Thank you so much ❤
Bro. Game changing. I even subscribed to your channel for how helpful this was. Now i know exactly where to put one of those unused skill points. SPACE PIRATE 4 LIFE!
Bro this video explained so much I was wondering about! Awesome job
Honestly, thank you so much for this. It was difficult to understand the ship building menu until you pointed out some things in the video. Appreciate it!
I don’t see the habs in the ship builder or upgrades section…does that show up later in the game?
When in 'ship builder' move the cursor off the ship and you should get the 'add' option. Which will bring it up. 😊
most useful video on ship info and I've watched at least 5 videos on what you need to know/tips and tricks. well done
Super useful! I wasn't sure how to build the ship up properly, now I can and it looks good, other tips have been great as well
actually useful tips i didn't mostly know about. Liked and subbed.
I followed your tutorial making this which I think it's very much the best video to upgrade the frontier. I think adding an additional shield was the only thing I added but that's my preference. Great video 👍🏻
thank you for getting this back up so quickly! I was pretty desperate for some good efficient advice on how to boost the ship capabilities. love you work and looking forward to anything else you’ve got on starfield! if you could put out a weapons one asap that’d be amazing, I just want a damn sword lol
My download of Starfield Premium Edition just finished downloading on my Series X! After I watch this I'm going in! This is all useful, thank you for posting it. I'm now going in.
Dude. what a clean and straight to the point tutorial. I can’t wait to add all these things to my ship as I had no idea how to navigate the ship builder-editor module. Appreciate you 🤝
The beginning part of your video is going to be especially helpful for me once I start to tinker with my own ship designs, I'm very interested in customizing the designs of my ships, I'm just currently sucked up in the new atlantis side missions. I'm definitely enjoying my time with the game overall. Keep up the good work 👏
Subscribed. Very informative and straight to the point 🙏🏾
Wow. So much useful input in just over 5 Min. Thx alot!
All killer no filler!!
Liked and subscribed; best video game tutorial I have ever seen.
This was a great ship tip video. Thank you 🙌🏽
Great vid! lots of great advice. much appreciated.
Holy moly that was incredibly informative, and entertaining. Thank you for the non-stop help.
Thanks for all the good advice I can't wait to build my very own majestic Space-Turtle
Awesome if you make the HoverShell lmk
this guide is aawesome! thank you for the time and effort!
This helped so much. I kept dyimg when I faced so many ships, and now I have my own turtle to keep me safe! Thanks!
This is one of best and easiest to follow guide to ship building that I have found. Excellent guide that saved me a lot of experimental time as well as some other very helpful hints about game play.
Incredibly useful. I was getting frustrated with managing inventory, this helps a lot.
Your videos are put together really well. Thank you! Happy to be a new subscriber. 🎉
A lot of great advice, didn't know about the remote ship access as example...that's a game changer for sure. That said, is there a reason you went "turtle" instead of "train"? If you line the pods up behind your hab, you have a lot more mounting space. You can swap the under-slung storage 210 bays for the side mounted 300's...and if you want to put more into upgrading your engines, you can actually do more, as well.
Incredibly helpful video mate, thank you.
Concise, on point, good info
Your video just helped me out because I got really confused and a little frustrated ship building as I save 20000 credits and couldn’t figure it out ended up only upgrading my reactor instead.
This video was perfect. Short and informative. Thank you.
Thanks for this guide ! Helps a lot
This video was worth the watch! Just for that you earned my follow
An alternative to the science lab hab (if you don't really want the pharma station) is the computer core, which gives you one extra crew slot and three storage containers (two lockers and a chest).
How do you even get the science lab.
@@TheVoyagers. So if you go to the ship vendor by the kiosk, go into the ship building menu part of the upgrade screen. Once there, push A or whatever your interact button is on the empty part of the grid and it brings up menus to add modules that are available
Only thing I hate about storage containers on ships is that everything gets moved to cargo when you modify your ship.
This video came in clutch thank you so much👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks for this nice way to upgrade to the "Turtle!" Nice and simple upgrade. I love this game. Thanks again!
This video is amazing thank you for uploading it
thank you this is by far the best set of instructions specifically for the frontier upgrade lol ive seen some ok ones but this just makes a loooooot more sense
Nicely done! And thank you... so helpful.
Great video, lots of information and to the point. great job!
Thank you!
I still wan't to build my own ship, but I was needing this asap for a mission!
Perfectly helpful simple video! Especially for those of us that are indecisive. Appreciated
This was great answered a lot of stuff I kept running into not knowing! Thanks!
Thank you. Nice and Simple now I understand completely and be able to built more in the future.
Fully re-watched again and liked this, since I'm pretty sure my comment on the last one was why it was re-uploaded with the grav section part added.
Even though the last video didn't have the bit about getting a new grav drive, I figured it out, but more importantly you got me exploring the ship builder menu and options early. Thanks for that!
Yea, the review build had different stats on the parts I guess. So, had to completely remake most of this video.
@@BoomstickGaming frustrating! Still, thanks for getting me to start looking into building.
Excellent video! Thanks man :)
This is awesome. Thank you so much :) I bet so many people are gonna have turtles as their starting ship :D
Just what I was looking for! Thank you!
Thanks for this quick guide! I wish I discovered it earlier, but it was still very helpful as I found the ship building overwhelming at first. I've kinda got the hang of it, sorta kinda, but it would be great if you upload some more builds!
I love that tip that you don't have to be AT the ship to access it's cargo.
Awesome video. I'm going to bookmark it for future reference.
You did miss one opportunity though. Those attach points on the front of your side habs would be perfect for windows.
This video was op af. Thank you
Super helpful. I got stuck a couple times only because "pulling" off the old grav drive, I never deleted it. So I kept getting error msg. Third time was the charm. Worked just like the video , what a help. Safe space travels.
Alex!! This video made the game so much more enjoyable for me!!! Thank you!!
Hey, just wanted to say thank you for your video. I was able to finish the Freestar Mission that requires taking out about 7 pirate ships that I was failing miserably on. After upgrading the stock ship I was finally able to pass this mission and I am also more confident now in my ship building abilities. I was hoping to get my free ship from finishing the Freestar quest line before upgrading anything, but with this tutorial I was able to destroy all the pirates and hijack one of their ships also during the battle so it was a win, win. Thanks again bud. 👌🏼
Great video bro really helped
I was so frustrated with the ship builder. It's not intuitive at all. Thanks for giving me exactly what I needed to know. Cargo was my main goal but now i can do even more stuff
I don’t see that HAB section on top left like how do I do this?
Single Handily the best ship tip video, thank you.
This was amazing thank you!
Alex, thank you. This was very helpful. I am going to build this but choose some different colors. Call it the Lantern Fly. Keep up the good work.
This helps so much! I have found the ship builder stuff too overwhelming to even bother with. Now I can have a beefy turtle Frontier to travel in.
This has been amazingly helpful!
This video just helps me out. thanks a lot.
Excellent guide, thank your 👍👍👍
I'm 30 to 40 hours in and some of these tips were super useful (the ship weapons and the landing NPC ship ones for example.)
Very good tips, thx!
Great video! Thank you!
Love the game so far very informative thanks so much!
Great video, really helped, thank you so much
Thanks for the tips especially about inventory in cargo hod.
That was a bad ass explanation. Subscribed just on this. Thanks!
Great Video. Very helpful.
Quick and to the point! Thanks :)
Dope vid thx buddy !
Thanks this is a lot to cover in short time.
Great vid. Quick, to the point and told me what I needed to know...and a few extras. Not gonna lie, wish I would have saw this before I had spent the tedious time of painting each part of my mantis ship 1 by 1 lol. Thanks again!
You made my day. Thank you for information.
Really helpful video. Thanks!
Wow, I've already thought I know everything but MAN! You showed me even more! :D
That was one of the best “how to” videos concerning Starfield.
Brilliantly explained 10/10
Thanks man this is helpful
Great video. Thank you so much!
This video is very useful 😊 Thank you
Anyone know why I cannot see option to buy better storage or habs in ship menu? All i see are the weapons, drive, reactor
Move the cursor off of the ship and it gives you the option to "Add"
Starfeild is such an amazing and beautiful game I might be playing for years to come. But I have to make sure not play it too much otherwise I might burn out on it like I did with Skyrim around 2015 or 2016.
I figured out some of the stuff in the ship modifier by myself but found out after I was done that I couldn’t customize the inside of the ship manually and I bought two sleeping quarters by mistake. So thanks for helping with that.
Very useful info. Glad I didn’t sell the default ship because they only offered me like 5 grand for it. You should do an upgrade tutorial for the Mantis!
Incredibly useful. Wanted to build a hauler but modified Frontier will be best until late/end game I feel.
Thanks for this; knowing about the workshop and science lab is really nice. My Frontier never really got any attention though - I found this video after a delicious Va'ruun Hymn landed in front of me on Luna... well those silly cultists needed to die. It was easy enough to add those two hubs, engines, and cargo to the Hymn, and then make it all match the sleek black style.
Great guide!
