Tbh it's a coin flip, can't really blame Felix, but one thing that did bother me is that Portugal had Ruben Neves on the pitch, and he's used to penalties, he did it many times, after Ronaldo and Bruno he has the most experience in penalties, I don't understand why they chose Felix and Mendes (even if he scored) but not Neves
Felix has always been unreliable. He was nervous going up. Bad decision to bring him on. They should of kept on Bruno and had Jota maybe even Goncalo Ramos a FULL striker loadout.

His father played with ronaldo and hes loyal to ronaldo thats what gets you on field in this team not playing gret for club liek jota, neto, ramos. Even ruben neves played ahead of joao neves as another of ronaldos buddies.
Happiest moment of any portuguese fan came in spite of him not because in 2016 he wouldnt let them make the change and get on with it he came on 3 times and left more dramatic every time. All times crying last tie on stretcher its crazy best matches the team has played last 15 years against switzerland and against france in final both came without him.

Stam was amazing but one person always overlooked was his partner Ronny Johnsen. Could do everything Rio said about Stam and also did it against big players like the Brazilian Ronaldo and even Zidane in midfield.

With the differences in how certain people can put things together is a smart observation. It's like race car driving. It's because some people can only see one thing at a time like the steering, braking, and acceleration separate while you have to be able to use all of the variables at the same time. It's like people failing calculus even though they were good at arrhythmic. Some people will stare at their paper for hours and nothing happens. Brazilian and Portuguese seem to be exceptionally good at stuff like football and race car driving like they have the brain for it. Ayrton Senna had the same kind of thing as a brazilian footballer
