Good to see Yous enjoying your travels, When I built my caravan , I had airbags fitted to my 100 series LandCruiser , after 15 yrs they failed , new ones soon , not bad run, Black, Happy safe travels Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺

There is nothing worse then car problems when travelling. Can totally relate. Hopefully you guys get them sorted ASAP 👍. I think it's sweet that you guys try and give something away, it's cool. Hi Sandy, yes car issues do put somewhat of a negative spin on the adventure, especially when they are serious ones. We are hoping that is behind us now, fingers crossed. Thank you for your comment, as a new channel and new travellers we are just playing around with ideas, but we appreciate the kind words. It was a big decision and one I don't think we truly appreciated until the day the house sold and it became real very fast. @@LBWAdventures cheers mate. How's ya new battery system going and in you vid you have two 30 amp dc2dc convertors any reason? And does it load up your alternator too much?
@@frankborlase2775 battery system is going great. We had our highest amp reading last week at 71 amps but we usually sit around 50amps most days depended on how and where we are parked. The dc2dc’s are to charge from the car while we are driving so we can run the fridge on battery and also top up the batteries. It’s also a backup to charge if we get bad weather and no solar. Doesn’t load the alternator as the ford can do more than the max 60 amps we’re pulling from the dc’s

Hi guys good to see you back on the road enjoying, if you have trouble with lift plates if you put one in from the front and one in from the back drill a hole on both sides then attach a strong jockey strap between them as you drive forward back ramp will move forward then back into it and front one will move back and up you go 🤔 love the big touch looks great see you next time. Glad to hear you are getting air bags really make a difference

There are several types of external trans coolers available .Mate had one fitted to his Ranger that sat right behind the FORD badge in the middle of the grill....result....bloody ordinary. I had the Automatic Wholesales Dual Cooler kit in my BT50, excellent....mounts right of centre as you look at the engine, gets maximum air flow......Just FYI.....

Hi Guys great to see you having fun now all the work is done. Now you are heading down into dugite snake country do yourself a favour and buy a small bum bag and make up a small survival kit . If you go hiking away from your vehicle for more than half an hour you may not make it back to the first aid kit you have in your car? We always keep it in our truck and take it when we hike. We have a proper snake bite pressure bandage, emergency banket, bandaids, small mirror, whistle, Ferro stick. Map compass, small eye wash, benadine, triangle bandage. Swiss army knife on strap and water bottle. Never know when might need it👍 all you other newbies should have one to 🤠 make sure you put elephant rocks on your to see list near Denmark hope we see you again soon.
Hey alan, all great advice. We are a bit underprepared with all that at the moment and don’t really have any kind of kit with us. My plan was to just keep well away from the snakes 😂😂😂 but you do bring up a good point and we should look into sorting out some first aid supplies beyond sticky plasters and Panadol.

Hi mark. Our solar panels are ‘Amptron’ an Australian company and are 175kw semi flexible panels. We went semi flexible to reduce weight on the roof. Batteries are also Amptron 2x 12 volt 200ah lithiums. Inverter, solar controller and x2 dcdc’s are all victron. If your interested we have a video of us doing the install S1 E3 that shows all elements and how we wired them up. Hope that helps 😀

If you go hiking away from your vehicle for more than half an hour you may not make it back to the first aid kit you have in your car? We always keep it in our truck and take it when we hike. We have a proper snake bite pressure bandage, emergency banket, bandaids, small mirror, whistle, Ferro stick. Map compass, small eye wash, benadine, triangle bandage. Swiss army knife on strap and water bottle. Never know when might need it👍 all you other newbies should have one to 🤠 make sure you put elephant rocks on your to see list near Denmark hope we see you again soon.
Hey alan, all great advice. We are a bit underprepared with all that at the moment and don’t really have any kind of kit with us. My plan was to just keep well away from the snakes 😂😂😂 but you do bring up a good point and we should look into sorting out some first aid supplies beyond sticky plasters and Panadol.

Hi mark. Our solar panels are ‘Amptron’ an Australian company and are 175kw semi flexible panels. We went semi flexible to reduce weight on the roof. Batteries are also Amptron 2x 12 volt 200ah lithiums. Inverter, solar controller and x2 dcdc’s are all victron. If your interested we have a video of us doing the install S1 E3 that shows all elements and how we wired them up. Hope that helps 😀
