One question to all: how many digits (numbers and letters) has your serial number? Because on 3M page says it should be a 11 or 14 digit serial number and mine classic 3 has ten

is this good enough for nursing school?? i hope to start within the next year and want to get the top of the line that will last me through medical school and will stay with me through my beginning stages of actually working
This was recommended by my nursing school (among a few others). My school does not supply stethoscopes...or anything else for that matter.
If your school doesnt supply you with one, I recommend investing on a cheap yet good-quality stethoscope. My nursing school supplied us with a kit that included a stethoscope with double tubing. The quality is great, it's cheap but durable and great for practice. I used it for clinical placements and i haven't had any problems with it, except for a couple of things. One, the tubes can sometimes create extra noises and rub together and two, the earpieces that come with it are uncomfortable. Otherwise it's great! I've been using it for years at home and at school
