    You stayed in Blackheath. Blackheath has THE best view in all of the blue mountains (Perry's lookdown and Anvil Rock lookout). It's also the start of a drive through the Megalong Valley!! An absolute amazing drive.

    The Blue Mountains are just amazing, really gives you a sense of scale to this amazing country. A short trip out to Bathurst and a drive round one of the most iconic racetracks in the world would have been a great edition to your journey. Can’t wait for Sydney!

    In your video you show a roller coaster track going across the road at the scenic world just as you enter the car park. This roller coaster was built in the late ips and had the track go over a cliff and down the cliff. It was never opened as in testing they put bags for passengers and one of them had fallen out. So due to safety it never opened as I'm sure there could have been a passenger fall to their death. Just a fun fact.

    What a lovely video . I love the Butter box point loop track . You have to take a dirt track road through the forest and then the narrow road winds around the mountains until you get to the hiking track . There is only a handful of people there . As you are walking on the track it narrows out and then there is a big drop into the valley where you see a long river winding through the forest . The sand stone cliffs are awesome and there are other rock formations and some caves . It is a very peaceful place and is very raw because there is no fencing ! Your video is very nice thank you !

    Loved this video. I was born in Katoomba and you almost drove past our place at the base of the Blue Mountains right near the Nepean River. I remember going down the scenic railway many times as a child in the old designed train and across the skyway once again the old one. Absolutely loved the thrill of them. Shame about the weather…guess you’ll just have to come back someday 😊

      Hey Misterr279, thanks for the kind comment. It is all the ebb and flow of being CZcamsrs. We found the same a couple of years ago when we made videos in the US that people were uninterested in.

      Hi Daniel, driving in the UK is a little more aggressive but really isn't too bad on the whole. M25 and places like that can be a little crazy at times. But you will be fine.

    You recently mentioned that the videos of Australia are some of your lowest viewed videos.
    Personally I've loved your content over the years and it interested me because it was showing me places that seemed a bit more exotic or culturally different.
    Australia maybe doesn't seem that different to other more developed countries so maybe that's why engagement is down.?

  • @karenley7356
    @karenley7356 Před 11 měsíci

    Sadly the Australian content was disappointing. You missed filming the largest coastal salt water lake in Australia (Lake Macquarie)twice the size of Sydney Harbour. Sorry but I thought it was more of a tourist video than a travel video.

      It's impossible to see everything on a fairly short visit. Just coming down the coast of NSW, if they stopped to see everything (including the mountains), you could probably take many weeks, if not months. You could spend a lot of time just exploring the Greater Blue Mountains area - 10,000 square kilometres (3,900 sq mi), including the Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd, Wollemi, Gardens of Stone, Yengo, Nattai and Thirlmere Lakes National Parks, plus the Jenolan Caves Karst Conservation Reserve. Apart from the natural attractions, there are the man made attractions, like the Zig Zag Railway.
