"We're denying the allegations" just didn't sit right with me. There is no 'we' in this, he's a 30 year old man and should be held responsible for his actions, not hiding behind mommy. I really like Alexia but her love for her son is almost to a fault - what good does love do if he has no responsibility, morals or decency?
Agree she’s almost all level headed!! But when it comes to her son? That level headed tilts to the left!!
Well, if she's footing the bill, she probably feels like it's "we." He is so coddled though -- it's insane.
Not even surprised, Alexia has never held that boy accountable for anything which is why he continuously gets in these kind of problems.
Todd’s delivery in that sit down episode was rough but the way he was completely right though…

The allegations from the NY Post regarding Peter's arrest are pretty damning. The gf didn't call the cops, the neighbor did after seeing him assault her & pull her back in the house when she tried leave a 2nd time. Alexia will never hold him accountable.

@@sabrinamurphy4009 read the police report then come back , the neighbors called due to hearing the noise going on but did notice that he had marks on his face while the girl had none . Unfortunately we are quick to judge and not read facts . He not innocent, he should have been smart and just let her leave

Man I’m so glad other viewers see the enabling going on with Alexia. She seems to never learn when it comes to her son Peter. My aunt does the same with her son and it is so sad to see. There is always drama and they constantly wonder why. Hello bc you never hold them accountable for their actions from a young age.
She talks about Todd, as if he's the family pet. Peter will never take responsibility for his behavior, nor will Alexia. I understand protecting your child, but she is an enabler. He needs help, and he is an adult.

Well now Todd was definitely right. She DOES enable her son and her denying the allegations is actually a red flag. Why would his partner lie about that? Alexia's making a big mistake. She must give her son some tough love and make sure that he doesn't lay a hand on a woman again but now Alexia is enabling him because she wants to protect him which will ultimately lead to him doing it again.
Eventually he'll cross the wrong girl and Karma will be her name
I believe her son Peter was involved years back in beating up a homeless man so I'm not sure about his moral compass.
i feel so bad for Alexia. Peter is already 29 and he relies for her with everything and the other son always needs to be taken care of. I hope they all mature and doesn't give Alexia more problems.

Her son was charged and not convicted yet! But I feel like Alexia is a little bit in denial. I’d be sad but I would be very pissed and would still hold my son responsible if he did actually do it. Curious to see how it plays out, what the evidence is and if he is convicted or pleas out.
I love that they are both playing sweet. We saw episode 7 and that dinner honey. Alexia is in seat 1 for a reason.

Alexia never holds Peter accountable and gets he off with money. She needs to insist that Peter gets counseling as well as the whole family. As far as Frankie, it seems like since he was discharged from the hospital there was no further treatment. Frankie needs daily treatment and education not hanging out in a nail salon. After she dies what will happen to Frankie?
Alexia is a mother. Unfortunately she loves her son Peter with pity and spoiled hoop, that young man has real anger issues; he triggers my PTSD when he speaks. Not good.
I know a lot of you are saying she’s an enabler, which is true, however, a lot of latina moms baby their grown sons like this. i think it’s a cultural thing. oddly part of me feels represented that this side of my culture is being shown on tv.

How Todd said what he said was tough yes, but sometimes you need to do that to people you love. Alexis enables and protectes Peter far to much beqcuse she feels bad for ignoring him while she took care of her other son. Which isn’t her fault but woth her life I feel her pain:

Alexia is such a good mom. You can tell she really just wants the best for her boys and wants to see them be happy. Fuck anybody who has anything else to say. They will never understand
Has ANYONE ever studied psychology ??? Everything in that infamous episode was wrong. To speak about her son and his brother like that IN FRONT OF HIM, as if he couldn’t comprehend it was cruel, outrageous and reprehensible. Also, who does this man think he is. If my “boyfriend” spoke to my son like he did, that would be the end. Respect goes 2 ways. Age is not the only reason to show someone respect. They have to be worthy of that respect. Next, all Alexia did is talk about “walking down the aisle” with her 2 sons. Now she just wanted to be alone. It is heartbreak to watch this family that are clearly in pain, and have absolutely NO IDEA how to deal with it. Then comes along this “macho” pompous, self righteous ego maniac, who claims to have their best interests. I rarely post, but this episode was just too much. Too much went wrong, and they need an intervention on so many fronts.
You are so right about everything here! I mean, the part where they all sit and scream about Frankie in front of him, you could see how uncomfortable he was getting by the whole thing. Whether or not he understood, they threw his dignity out of the window. AND Then the boyfriend, it was like watching a movie - how can you marry a guy who talks down to your entire family like that with absolutely no compassion or empathy for their situation.
It wasn't in front of Frankie, he was there at the start but left - the discussion between Todd and Peter went on for a 5 hours. The editing has made it seem like Frankie was still there in the room but it was just the Peter and Todd - I don't think it was fair of the show to try and allude to the fact that he was still in the room. Todd isn't new to the family and will have had enough first hand experience of Peter's behaviour. He seemed frustrated at how Alexia mothers Peter too much which clearly doesn't seem to be helping his behaviour (like recent domestic violence arrest). Todd was arguing that they need professional help to deal with their issues. His delivery wasn't sweet but everything he said was correct, and after recent events I hope Alexia starts to listen for the sake of her son.

Lexia , my kids need attention. Perhaps lexia or whatever yr name is Lizard should travel to the east side of Chicago to see how the kids live there.
