Mate - it’s like you’ve read my mind! Was just looking for a guide as I’m in the market for upgrading / replacing my system. Really like the way you make these guides - look forward to getting stuck in.
Thanks a lot Ben. Any questions let me know.
Just the fact that you sound like you know what you talking about, puts me in a good mood to upgrade from console to PC 🙌🏾
Bravo 👏🏾 Subbed 🎉
Thank you sir
Nice! Without going through the exercise of picking the parts, I would have guessed a computer at this price point would be a lot worse. Looks like a pretty solid machine!
Glad you approve 👊
Glad to see you posting again. I think you missed an opportunity to mention why someone might want to spend more for a better card other than "your mileage may vary". Before selecting a graphics card the buyer/builder needs to understand what monitor will be used. Single monitor, wide screen, ultrawide, triples, 4K, 1440, 1080. You're running triples 1920 x 1080 (5760x1080). That's a lot of pixels to push. Depending on the game and settings the 4060tTi may provide a disappointing framerate.
Thanks and good point indeed. Follow up video will be going through monitors so will mention that indeed 👍
4060ti and 4070 are really power efficient, the cooling isn't going to be a problem.
Amazing video! Thanks for all the quick tips.
You are more than welcome.
Could you maybe do a review video on the VRS base and VRS wheel? Lots of content creators are posting videos about simucube, simagic etc. but frist hand experience from unpaid users/drivers would be much preferred. Great content as always!
cool video but I personally would choose for 1tb memory for your games and maybe clips of racing accidents
storage i mean*
Really helpful for a complete newbie like me.! Question, would this be compatible using VR and a DOF reality rig. I will mainly be sim racing on several games but also looking at Microsoft flight sim…
There's something I'm curious about. Should I use Windows 11 home or Windows 11 Pro? Also I noticed there's OEM and Retail. What's the difference?
Great vid bud! Might take a look at that GPU soon
Cheers mate 🙏
Great video really helpful for someone like me who is thinking of building a full sim setup. Question, will this build and graphics card be more the sufficient fir a 3 monitor setup and would I find a big difference in steps up in cards and monitors
Really cool video. I am not a pro in pc building and this video help me how to search. Personally looking for a 3x2k .. currently having a 3070 in which cannot reach more then 70 fps at medium quality. I beleive a 4080 super is good spot for future proof for a 3x2k .
How would I find out what GPU I would need for a triple monitor sim racing setup for 1080p and 1440p with atleast 100fps?
3080 or above
An overclocking video would be great....It scares me even thinking about it.
I’ll get it done 👍
Hi mate. Is there a chance you can make a video on how you record your vids and what software, setup ie additional pc etc?
Im just curious i just built my first pc and there is a full racing simulator on the market place for 500$ but its for playstation i was just wondering if it would work imstead of spending 1500 on a new sim?
Your previous video for a $600 build is now outdated? Or is it still valid for a entry level?
question my friend i have 2080ti oc would the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB GAMING OC Graphics Card be a good upgrade using a 49 samsung monitor thxs andy
Hi sir i picking between i5 13600k and i7 13700k would I be fine playing assetto corsa with realistic mods
Now send me the 1200 quid and I'll give it a go 🤣
😂 Now that would be a giga giveaway
You have plenty of money Alan. 😉
@@doug_vickers never enough
4060ti!?!? You going to play at 1080p?
no rbg lights.. damn.
Haha! I was tempted but resisted :)
You know you’re leaving half a sec on the table by not having the RGB? 🤣
850watt psu on a system that pulls less than 400, most of which will be the CPU.
Cheap ass cooler on "K" cpu that pulls over 200watts.
4060ti is a garbage overpriced card, just get a 3080 on 2nd hand market, it's the same price and miles apart in performance
500gb ssd is cheaping out in the wrong place, get at least 1tb, more if you intend to mod the shit out of games like assetto corsa.
"Z" motherboard is useless on that system.
Overall build, meh, don't recommend.
Thanks for comment. I understand and respect your thoughts. Tough to please everyone
Does the game HAVE to reside on the boot drive?
I like to back up my os drive frequently (scheduled), so I hate it having extra stuff on it. I'd keep at 500 for boot drive and have 1tb or 2tb drives as required for games.
What would you recommend then? Honest question.
You could have simply uploaded a list of the components shown in the video. No need for a 15 minute video for this. You didn't "build" anything in the video, you bought parts.
The parts are listed on the pcpartpicker link in the description and I plan on several follow up videos building and benchmarking this machine.
It's all about context. You don't get that in a parts list.
Great video Davo 👍
Disagree. I thought his explanations of what and why where El very helpful for someone new to PCs looking into a sim racing PC build. I found it informative.
Just don't watch the video, mate. You have that option. 👍🏻
@@JulianoFagundes If I didn't watch the video I wouldn't have commented on it. Your logic is faulty. I have the option of commenting on it, which I exercised :)
