@Daniel De Freitas Campos Campos idk if I'd claim pac as a lyricist. My opinion songwriter, poet, legend whom was able to paint vivid pictures with his songs. Songs that are timeless an can appeal to anyone and everyone yes. I luv pac but in context of lyricist he was simple with his rhymes. I respect what others feel this just my opinion. When I hear lyricist I think of wordplay, metaphors double triple entendres, structure syllables, all that good stuff.im not gonna act like storytelling isn't a part of that just not as much as the other stuff. Coming from a non- hip hop head, (my style is delta blues , Jazz and Rock, I am a guitarist ) But with Rakim every tiny little detail about him oozes Coolness. He’s got his whole existence dialed to perfection. From this tilt of he’s head wear to the slouch of his chain to every wrinkle in his clothing the G*D oozes perfection. You can pause the video anywhere and it would be a picture perfect moment. You won’t catch him slippin. Peace to the G*D word is bond
