More about the journey than the drama - what a great way to sum up Jane Austen!

I don’t love Emma either. 😂🤪♥️ I love your deep dives. ♥️ Especially about my favorite, Persuasion! 😅 I liked parts of The Benevolent Society of Ill- Mannered Ladies! Seeing the “other” side of Regency society was amazing. No Wickem! 😂

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this JAJ video! One of the best I've watched. Huge fun. My answers would differ, I always say P & P is my favourite and then I reread another of the books and 'that's' my new favourite suddenly. Emma did that to me last year, and then I reread Persuasion and loved that all over again etc. I read Mansfield Park for the first time last year and while it will never be a favourite, I did love it. Currently reading Lucy Worsley's non-fiction book about JA's various homes, so good. I had never heard of The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies but it sounds wonderful so it's now on my Kindle. Thanks for the rec!

@@cathrussell2426 Thank you! I really appreciate that. The Lucy Worsley bio is so good! If you enjoy that I’d recommend The Real Jane Austen:A Life In Small Things by Paula Byrne if you haven’t already read it. I hope you enjoy the Ill Mannered Ladies! It really is wonderful. Thanks for taking the time to comment. :)

@@amyofhearthridgeMe too! I wish more biographies were written that way.
