- France is easily one of the most beautiful & historical countries on earth. I spent the last few years exploring France and I want to share with my favorite places in this travel guide. From the diverse landscapes of Corsica, to the wonders of Normandy, there are very few countries (if any) that can match the beauty and splendor of France. I put my heart and a few years into making this video and I can’t wait to share it with you. Where is your favorite place in France?

@@tomoyohermosa Considering we have French Polynesia, French West indies, a big part of the Alps, we have untouched nature and wilderness too (not the same, I agree). I'm travelling all around the world and enjoying it, but France is not only towns and cities (even if it is the most famous and indeed what is making the country so visited. Anyway i'm writing a lot but north american wilderness is amazing ;)
@@zasalameleuh2289 Yeah I guess if you also add American territories too like Samoa, US Virgin Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, Mariana Islands, etc there's a lot to see as well. I loved Bora Bora btw!

@@RyanShirley I can tell it’s takes really long but it’s so worth it. Your content really inspires us to travel. It has definitely helped me in planning my trips. Can you please make a video and how you get around all these places and how much it costs travel and where do you stay and how far in advance you book hotels/flights?
I had the chance to go in France twice in my life. One time in 2010 for a week as a travel with school. And another time in 2021 for a whole month to join friends there. I visited some of the places mentioned in this video. But I visited so much more not included (can't blame Ryan, France has way too many things to offer to do them all, it is ridiculous!), but here some more:
-Padirac Cave. One of the highlights of my trip. Not too far from Rocamadour. You feel like you are in another planet.
-Auvergne Volcanoes region. Just stunning. As as it is situated more in the middle of the country, they are more overlooked in comparison of the Alps and the Pyrenees.
-French Catalonia: I knew that the Basque Country was shared by Spain and France. But I didn't know it was the same for Catalonia. Going to visit a friend living in Perpignan, this was a very nice surprise.
But overall, can't wait to visit this wonderful country a third time in the future! So much things left to explore! Thanks for this great video!

This is one of your best guides yet. Very thorough and the mix of land and drone keeps it visually interesting. smooth editing, too. France is an inexhaustible source of beautiful nature and towns, great cities and history., one of my favorite places. Happy Holidays and a great new year of travel. One thing for sure: you will pop up in some surprising places like this year's trip to Tahiti one month and the Faeroe Islands the next.

@@RyanShirley So far we celebrate new years in the Middle East and then my friend and I go to Asia in January. My wife and I also think to go to Norway in February to see the Northern Lights since they should be extra intense in the next months! They are expected to be most intense in the last 30 years, so if you have not already experienced it, maybe now is it time 😄

@@RyanShirley Can't wait to get back to France 🙂There are too many locations to pick a favorite one for me. You have mentioned many of them like Gorges du Verdon and Côte d'Esterel. A few places you didn't mention (but maybe you have seen them anyway): Gorges de Daluis, Gorges de Cians, Gorges du Tarn, Châteaux de Versailles, Cordes-sur-Ciel, le Gers, le Vercors (Combe Laval, Gorges de la Bourne, Pont-en-Royans), Arcachon. We are thinking about buying a small house in southern France one day when we retire.

You definitely did a great job. Bravo, Ryan! May I suggest a few cities and other places that are missing in the list: Bayeux Tapestry (to me, the oldest "comic" strip) near the D-Day beaches in Normandy, Christian Dior's museum in Granville near Mont-Saint-Michel, Nancy is definitely a must (north-eastern France), la Baie de Somme and les hortillonages d'Amiens (both northern France), the Champagne cellars or wineries near Reims (Eastern France), Beaune near Dijon (is a must), Château Royal de Blois, Toulouse near Carcassonne, la Corderie Royale in Rochefort (near La Rochelle) and le Passage du Gois in l'île de Noirmoutier. Enjoy!

Reunion is just mind blowing. I don't know, I guess I have a thing for volcanoes. Something about the rawness of a nature. For me a typical tropical paradise is a bit...boring :D But place like Reunion seems like a perfect location for me. And it's not that far away from Europe. One day, one day :D

I’ve been to Uganda 3 times now and murchison falls national parce is stunning also I’ve been to senagal wich has some of the best coast in the world in my opinion

France vs Italy vs Spain for sheer diversity of landscapes, climates and cultures?
That’s really tough! I think my favorite of the three is Italy but they all are amazing

I’d say Switzerland and Norway are the most beautiful, Tanzania had the best natural beauty and animals, and Faroe Islands is also up there for its natural scenery
