I noticed a few things about this music when it's in-game: apart from the whistled version by some sort of scout troop, the singing version is like, scrambled and muffled with interference. One is covered by some sort of humming and the other is completely covered by interference as if something is disturbing the transmission of this music in particular. All the other musics and channels are relatively clear, except this one music. ... Mono? Call me crazy, but it is Mono, trapped inside the Tower, trying to call or something by singing a song he knows, but the Tower is interfering with his signal? listen: czcams.com/video/oqc1mVAKIVI/video.html and it's even more obvious here: czcams.com/video/oqc1mVAKIVI/video.html and the voice we hear is definitely a young boy's voice
I noticed a few things that I think further support your theory. You probably noticed this first thing from the video that you linked, but the static noises that you hear at the end of each of the games trailers sounds vary similar to the part at 0:21. Not to mention that when we hear those sounds in the trailers it also shows an icon of Mono flashing in the tv screen. And finally, the fact that we hear the scout whistle version at the beginning of the games second trailer was probably hinting at the motif's importance, heck that's probably where Mono learned the song from. I don't think any of these are coincidences.
@@magic2546 it's is also the music we hear when we approach the glitching remains. And I notice that Mono's head kinda 'light up'' when he touches them, but it's only visible with the paper bag mask, see? czcams.com/video/awXgM6fjXr8/video.html I really hope we get more info on what are those glitching: are their random children or some sort of glitching remains of Mono's precedent time loops incarnation. Sorry if my English is bad, I do my best!
I feel like this music (if it was the clear version) would have fit nicely with Six being dragged in the snow by Mono...it feels as if it is a song about loosing a friend since it has that church-like vibe from the chorus having those harmonies to the person singing the high notes.
@@skrappothemonster1436Perhaps they planned on it being a sort of ending between bad and good, with Mono having to leave Six and that leads to Him going back through a time before the damage happened.
Why is it that this signal in particular is so distorted compared to the others in-game? Random thought, could it be that this is a signal that the tower DOESN'T want the citizens of the pale city to hear? and if so, why not?
Every one is talking about "If six never betrayed mono" or "What if they killed themselfs to stop the towers signal" but I think this would have been used to when you see the tower (not in the thin man boss)
So this music is in the game right? Can anyone tell me where exactly because I don't recognise it at all, does it rarely play on some of the TVs or does it play somewhere else?
:) ¡Nuevo sub!❤️

I think you might be on to something. Time does seem to be messed up in the signal tower. Plus you can hear thin man noises in the song.

It fits even better than what they made it for
Omg yes totally!! It sounds peaceful yet sad, that scene would fit perfectly
When did mono drag six through the snow?
@@Anonymous03741 It was in the concept art
@@Zombie_Gonzoif you don't mind, where can I find the concept art?
Feels like they would have used this for a “happy” ending where six or mono sacrifice themselves and stop the tower’s transmission
that be good and we remember them as hero :)

Sounds familiar, like city of tears in hollow knight
That moment when you realise that they both have a similar main area. Rainy destroyed city

It just makes me feel bad for The Pale City and everything thats been affected :(
