Sometimes I watch reactions just hoping somebody else will love something as much as I do. 😅 I have listened to villain’s “Walk up in the club” dozens of times because I love it as a song. Not a beatboxer, so I’m not trying to learn the routine or anything. I just straight up adore it as a song. But man, seeing D-Low react? He might just have loved it more than me. Maybe. Watching D-Low react to great beatboxing is its own special kind of thrill. And the way he just drops knowledge. Sometimes it’s a bit cryptic for me as an outsider (like, when he was doing a kick and snare on top of Villain-what did that mean? You bring up a really good point about the average listener and none beatboxer not being able to comprehend the technicality of some of your fellow artists. I recall months ago not being a huge fan of B-Art because he has a very fast, and at the time, seemingly muddy sound. But as I listened more and developed an ear for the craft, I learned to recognize B-Art specifically for how complex and tactful his performances are. That extends to being able to recognize Villain and his complexity, and people like you who break it all down helps immensely.

There's absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that you are one of, if not, the best modern pioneer of beatbox but watching these videos has given me such a deep appreciation of your musical intellect - I am forever "forcing" beatbox onto friends, family, strangers at the bus stop and, with varying degrees of success, explaining how pure it is as a form of music but you so succinctly and passionately express the skill, depth and inherent musical ability necessary to perform tracks like these that I don't know how anyone could dispute that what you, and others like you, do is genuinely superhuman. The joy you exude and the knowledge you share here (in wonderfully layman terms) is magical - huge thank you and massive congratulations 👊🔥

Then your videos that go into detail about how technically insane this madman is put his rounds near the top of this battle for me. DLOW was already one of my absolute favorite beatboxers. But he quickly also become my favorite beatbox commentator/"reaction-er". I love how much appreciation and kindness he shows. And he has the technical understanding and skill to really make fantastic, meaningful commentary.
I swear D LOW is like the task master of beatboxing. He has his own style but can replicate every other style of different beat boxers because he is so versatile and has an insane level of range in the sounds he creates . That’s what makes Dan in my opinion one of the best beatbox artists in the world genuinely.

Bro as a musician myself (drummer) I love your technical breakdowns and your take on judging the style as they truly were a difference of night and day. The simplicity and technicality of Dudz was insane, but Villiain was more innovative and tried to do more of a showcase of his full arsenal whereas Dudz kept it too simple for my liking
