The way that big corporations can buy up independent creators and completely suck out the charisma and charm that the original had is crazy. I love Jon and to see how funny and interesting he was on Tifo compared to this is insane
Adam also does his best to be as uncharismatic and unfunny a host as possible. Pulls all the dynamism out of dialogues.
@@alexchetverik3982 That's kind of why I can't listen to him. He has no idea how to let things flow as a host, and that's not something that can be taught. You've either got it or you haven't. I get the feeling that was why the Tifo podcast was ended by Adam and his bunch at the Athletic. They didn't want the fun side of it. They just wanted serious content. Which as we can see is dull.
This is a separate podcast to what tifo was and was a podcast before tifo ended. Jon is just featuring this week. Adam did not replace Joe. Seemed like Joe stopped podcasting because he simply disliked doing it.
Don’t watch
Low energy panel, and I'm an althetic subscriber. This is nore low energy Talksport! Talking up Howe for a sacking. Sorry to disappoint you lads but Jobe and Clark failed to turn up today.
I miss the Tifo Football Podcast.
These guys didn't even mention Aberdeen.
lol the media are desperate to get Howe sacked. It’s quite obvious what’s happened the injuries have meant the same 11 have played 3 times a week for 3 months in a high pressing team which means they are nackered and now there confidence is low. When the players are back fit and firing the team will start winning again. This isn’t howe’s fault it’s very bad luck
Doesn't agree with the criticism "oh the media are trying to get him the sack!!!" Got some more tin foil hats if you need them 😂😂
Only matter of time some other nutter comes along and says "Media bias because Howe's English"
And by media you mean sad old Man U supporters who feel bitter. Can't copy us now lads
Forcing your colleages to do nothing but offer score predictions for 45 minutes while asking almost no open ended questions- an interesting strategy... And completely successful if the goal was to kill all enthuism and organic conversation.
When they said cup shock, I thought they meant Man Utd were going to win 🤷🏻♂️
My man John Mckenzie with accurate predictions and with a spot on justification.
That Barcode joke was brilliant Adam, don't listen to them!
Jon Mackenzie, he knows the rules 3-0 NUfC
Bakayoko is a great kid with great potential. I don't think he's ready to be a starter for Man U, but getting there. Personally I hope he stays at PSV forever O:)
Expert predictions....
Can’t help but notice the amount of eyewear on my screen currently, is this product placement for a SpecSavers sponsorship?
Why are these guys so miserable? Paid to talk about football and it seems too much effort for them
because there's only one miserable guy, and they put him in charge
It's amazing how much grace Howe and Newcastle are given over their injury situation, where as any other club gets absolutely skewered for a drop in form like this.
Eddie Howe is the media darling of the league, can do absolutely no wrong… rule 1: do not mention how bad he is doing… rule 2: do not mention how bad he is doing… rule 3: refer to rules 1 and 2.
Took a team from a relegation scrap to champions league in no time and has hit his first dip. Let's not over react here
@@peacefrog5193exactly
Because Newcastle's squad is substantially worse than the other sides experiencing injury-driven drops in form. When Newcastle played "injury-ridden" Man Utd the other week Man Utd had £300 million on the bench whereas Newcastle had 2 goalkeepers, 3 academy players, 3 Championship-standard players in their 30s and Lewis Hall. He also massively overachieved last season (board expectation for last season was a top 10 finish) and still has plenty of credit in the bank after that
Yep, what a story, taking the plucky underdog to the bright lights of the Champions league in no time. Absolutely no other context needed whatsoever.@@peacefrog5193
my man jon from tifo. he's one of the best football heads i know and a what perfect prediction that too well calculated.
goblin gang goblin gang goblin gang
The surprising thing is, they knew they had UCL this season but didnt go for depth in past transfer window.
They already spent what they could
They're being wary of FFP
if you don't have any knowledge then why bother comment?
Eddie Howes next job is going to be West Ham
Wow what an amazing prediction ability you have, shame you're thinking of the old Eddie pre-Newcastle though right? Oh no he turned down Celtic. Before that? Oh yeah brought he Bournemouth up to the prem. Yawn
Champions League in the first time for a long time. Premier League, FA Cup and the league cup too. That's a lot of games. And Howe didn't think of bringing in more players in the summer? Goalkeepers? Fine. No back up for Trippier who has been awful for the last few games, there was a game recently where he made two mistakes that led to goals. Dan Burn just isn't a full back. Too light in midfield and really should have done their homework on Tonali. Callum Wilson is an excellent forward but injury-prone. But light up front and after antics from Gordon, find him tremendously unlikeable. Again, Howe's like for working with a small squad clearly can't work if they're playing all these games. Arteta has the same thing for small squads, as seen by how little he used fringe players last year, but this year he's had to buy backups. But not to the extent of Chelsea though, that's ridiculous.
So you know for a Howe decided to not spend money? In fact he has total control over signings and organises the transfer budget and wages?
Funny that we did strengthen our squad, but were you too busy following the cricket love?
@@LouieAblett Gordon, Barnes, Isak and Wilson as your only forwards? By comparison, Arsenal have Martinelli, Jesus, Saka, Nketiah, Trossard, Nelson. If you want to go for the league, the cups and especially the Champions League, you need a bigger squad. Newcastle clearly didn't strengthen properly and given Howe's like for small squads, having come from Bournemouth, that suits him fine. But after a great season last season, this season is showing up his limitations as a manager. Enough cricket for you?
I hope not. They belong fighting in the relegation zones year in year out
Why is that? Justify your comment
hmm interesting. had a fallout with your local geordie?
sportwashing club. other teams should boycott their matches with them. the government should force a sale.
where were you when chelsea and city were bought with oil money with a side of human rights atrocities? PSG is owned by Qatar etc etc. I'm all for scrutiny, but Newcastle is and always be United. Don't lump us in with the money, we had no say in it.
Hopefully not, its fucking hilarious 😂
must be comforting for you to have another team than your own one to think about
