- On the 19th of June, 2024, just after midnight, emergency services responded to a aircraft incident involving a aircraft unable to steer properly. This triggered a full emergency response for all services to respond to Manchester airport.

I was at Bolton fire station open day and Leigh TRU was there and guess what wasn’t,the sprinter van off the run again,replace by a Volvo pump

@@fireresponsetv is there an issue with Leigh TRU? Last night there was a RTC in Bolton and the TRU from Ashton attended
@benwalmsley7607 most likely the TRU couldnt be crewed because of staff, but that's just a guess
@@fireresponsetv is that why these “ enhanced rescue stations “ are being rolled out so they can be crewed correctly? Bit of a distance to come from Ashton to Bolton
