- Dubrovnik is situated on the southern Adriatic Sea coast in the southeastern part of Croatia. Dubrovnik is usually regarded as the most picturesque city on the Dalmatian coast and is referred to as the "Pearl of the Adriatic." This is a place filled with history and beautiful architecture so I am so excited to finally be here!

A great tour of the city with some spectacular views. I suppose those high prices are one way of reducing the numbers of tourists, the city has been suffering from over-tourism for several years now. Adopting the € at the start of this year must have given them another excuse to inflate prices. I arrived in Dubrovnik by overnight ferry from Corfu back in the day, and then headed up the coast to Makarska and then Split. I wonder where you went next.
I think you're right. It's probably one way to ease off the over-tourism. That overnight ferry sounds fun though 😊
I went straight to Mostar just after Dubrovnik. Mainly because I've been to other places in Croatia (back in my 20s 😊).

They no longer allow just anyone to jump after few Aussies died few years ago. You need permit now. Not that I would jump anyway. It’s way too high haha!

Thanks 🙏 if you want a little bit of peace and quite, I’d say Lapad is better compare to the Old Town area. I stayed at Art Hotel Dubrovnik. Really nice rooms. The balcony is overlooking the water so so great with your morning coffee. Have a good time:)
