Just got back last week, we were staying in lapad, just a short bus trip from the old town of Dubrovnik...very nice it was too. But didn't visit slot of these beaches shown, wish we had tho....will defo be going back soon. Croatia lovely country....oh, we did however go to lokrum island..loved the very tame peacocks!
Nice! Happy you enjoyed it. I’d recommend you to visit it once in early autumn, eg September, October. The sea is still warm, the weather is perfect (not too hot) and there are not that many tourists. 😊

Hi :) thanks for the comment. July and August are the most wonderful times, but also the most popular. So, the nature will be beautiful, all the seasonal fruits and vegetables will be available, but also there will be lots of people. Have fun!

You two sure know how to film scenery. Did you bring the drone from Finland or rent it from Dubrovnik? Dubrovnik is one place i have at least thought of visiting, i trust they have all type of hotels there?

We brought it from Finland. Most of the drone footages are ours, but I also got some from other content creators under common license.
They have really great hotels in Dubrovnik. I warmly recommend to visit, but if possible, not during summer. It’s really overcrowded and too warm (I’ve been living in Finland for too long 🙈)

Do you need a ticket to visit the attractions on Lokrum Island such as the monatery and botanical gardens?
The only ticket you need is a ticket for a boat ride to Lokrum and back :) make sure you don't miss the last ferry back to Dubrovnik, cause you'll have to call a boat taxi :D

In July and August, yes. Spring and autumn are perfect to explore Dubrovnik without tourist masses. 😊

I found the city to be terribly overrated. Kind people, but intense greed across all options for tourists. Would not visit again.
I’m sorry to hear. High season - meaning, July and August are even too much for me. But if you visit in spring or autumn, you’re gonna love it!
Well, fun fact (that Croatia not mentions to tourists) is: - Dubrovnik was never part of Croatia until ww2 😁

@@TootsieBlabber So, taxis here now costs 20$ for literally 200-300m (from Pile gate to Banje beach) I think Uber is better, which I wish I knew better.
Also, the copacabana beach costs $50 to rent a chair and umbrella.. I think it’s just the high season.
Ah yes! Season time is the worst when visiting Dubrovnik. It’s overly packed with tourists, too hot and too expensive. The best time really is autumn, but usually our holidays are not during that time..

Why go to Dubrovnik when you can go to Budva. It makes no sense to go to Dubrovnik. The most boring place on earth.
I appreciate the effort to write your comment, but if you would have seen the video, you would have understood that I have a family and many friends living in Dubrovnik and am very sentimentally attached to the place. To me, there is no place like Dubrovnik on the whole planet Earth.
