I genuinely hope stuff like this can get people hyped for the show. It feels as if it might go under the radar since Batman might not be in it, but that doesnt mean it will be bad. Very excited for it, and am hope everyone else can get to feeling the same.
I feel like fans of The Batman should be more excited. This isn't just a spinoff. It's clearly a stepping stone to part 2. There is probably going to be a lot of worldbuilding for the Reevesvers, and if rumors are true may also give us a more clear indication of what may be happening in the sequel. Who knows what secrets lie in this show

This show will not go under radar
When I first heard about the show, I was like "yeah okay we'll see I guess" but now, brah. I'm so fucking hyped for this show. The actors? Peak! The potential for story? Unlimited! The vibes from the trailer? Impeccable!
I would love the show to end with Batman crashing a mob dinner arranged by Penguin after he becomes the new kingpin of Gotham, just like in Year One style, settling path to The Batman Part II, once Matt Reeves described his story arc as an "epic crime saga" I can see Batman's going to face the mafia again

I'm pretty sure Strong will play Zasz. Considering that the role required him to prepare physically and especially after that Gotham hint, it's the only character I can relate

Thanks for making this! I’m really looking forward to this show too. I want to absorb everything there is to notice and glean about Gotham. I hope we get many little breadcrumbs that will fuel theories about potential storylines in Part II.
Additionally, I just really like the setting. Even more than Bale’s Gotham or Affleck’s Gotham, Pattinson’s Gotham feels like a real place to me. There’s a cohesiveness about the design that has made me really invested, and I’ve poured over the maps and the screenshots many times in an effort to understand how it all fits together. Every new scrap of information we get will just add to that.
And all of this is just the side benefit in telling a story that is set in Gotham - I’m most looking forward to a great crime drama about compelling characters, with Colin Farrell’s performance at the heart of it.

Please please please live up to my excitement. When I heard this get announced after Tha Batman came out, I said "yes please. I'd love a crime/mafia boss show centered around the Penguin to give him more to do. I can't wait to watch this. This will be good

Can't wait for the Penguin series to dropp this fall but it sucks they're not going forward with the other two spinoffs (Gotham PD, Arkham Asylum) that were announced previously. I'm in love with Matt Reeves' version of Gotham City & I wanna see this univserse explored & expanded as much as possible. Plus, we need something more to hold us over until The Batman sequel in 2026.
Very excited! The fact it can go any which way is phenomenal. And yes, people have been sleeping on the Penguin. I also said Reeves was going to bring a Gotham series to the big screen / max when I saw the Batman, it had to be done. Ever since I saw "Take it easy sweetheart" I knew Oz would get his own show. On Max, it's only right. The way they tackle the story telling reminds me of Oz, the Wire, True Detective and more. It's really amazing work. League of its own.

Can’t wait for this, especially with the movie delay. But hey boba, I know you try to be as fair and positive as possible which a trait I’m currently way behind in, but anyways based on Gunn’s release photo of the suit - would you personally be uncomfortable IFFF the suit in shots and the movie look relatively the same to the pic (creases/seemingly cheap material and subpar overall fit for David and his new massive frame) ??
Would love to know your honest take on that, as always appreciate the content bro
I mean I'd still have the same issues with it if it presented with these same flaws in other positions e.g. large unflattering creases, but the creases wouldn't destroy the suit for me as I do overall like the design despite having some issues. Still love the cape, don't mind the collar, love the blue of the suit (you can tell what it'll be like all over without the battle damage if you look at the legs), the crest logo & size of it etc. Need a better look at the material in a different lighting to make my mind up there.
Anyone have any idea how long the Caped Crusader episodes will be??

I am and always have been, a big fan of Batman. I really enjoyed The Batman and it's realistic view. I think the Penguin series has very good potential. I have to say, however, this series is being drug out far too long, and I have basically lost interest due to the time between films. The Batman will be a cult classic before part two is even released. DC needs to get their act together and stick to a reasonable schedule. At this point I am pretty much just over it.
Maybe Harvey Bullock could appear in either the penguin series or The BATMAN 2? The pudgy guy that never really trust Batman in BTAS

If the Penguin doesn't feature Batman from the villain perspective, that will be the same biggest mistake Sony has been doing. SHOW UR DAMN HEROS IN THE VILLAIN-CENTRIC STORIES. Give actual damn stakes and realism to the connected universe. Make me feel like the Villain, anxious about Batman coming out at any moment. For stuff like The Joker it doesn't matter, but it should be a guarantee Batman appears in this show, and I'm not even coming from a fan perspective there.

Regarding the series, I hope it succeeds so that they will not find any excuse to cancel the upcoming works, because the enemy of DC is WB. In this series, I hope that Bruce Wayne (not as Batman) will appear so that we can begin to adapt to him، and grows inside us until The Batman 2.(Sorry for my English😅)
