This is the first sober conversation I have had. The guest was impartial and educative. As Kenyans, we need to get to understand the whole budgeting process. All punitive suggestions begin somewhere and that is where we should hold our MPs accountable before the budget estimates metamorphosize into the politically voted and motivated financial bills.

Just like Congo (literally the richest country on Earth in terms of resources) and the rest of Franco countries are fucked for life by France and the EU, UN, UNHCR. I wish Gen Z would know that Ruto is fucked up just like his predecessors. They should continue with the energy but just direct it to the right problem.

Mainstreaming economic sovereignty conversations like these is critical to get all Kenyans into a focused drive to get control of our economy back. We have what it takes to succeed globally but we must be united in tackling the issues weighing down our economy in the governance space that lead to the silly situation where we find ourselves in a very vicious cycle.

This was a very enlightening interview. The best bit was when he mentioned that beyond the financial estimates..there's the social bit where the current generation will probably limit the no. Of children they get due to the high cost of living that will be there ...limiting the population that pays the loans thereafter and it's such an eye opener

Gen Z are brave at fighting for their rights as they should. Kudos. But they should take time to research why Kenya and Most African countries were created and are still held like that. International laws which were created by the British and allies were to continue ruling. The likes of Kwame Ngurume tried. Gaddafi was killed like a stray dog 😢. The predicecors of Ruto tried, except Uhuru Kenyatta who actually had fun with it by borrowing like there was no tomorrow. It is easier for Kenyan Gen Z to use this energy and information to fight the real enemy that to fight the current government who also can not fight the real enemy on his own.
