Loved this series, especially since it was a massive increase in content put out. Mono types have been surprisingly interesting. I hope to see some kind of mono type Draft tournament some day on your channel. The more people wanting the same typing, the more competitive the Pokemon there. You could draft other types, but when you make your team, all Pokemon must share a type. Could make for some interesting options bridging the typings. You could have a water and fire type draft, and have Volcanion be on either team. Rain/Sun teams, which do they plan against, for example.
monotype draft tournament sounds cool where first round is picking your type and then as it loops around is when the 1st pokemon is chosen and some dual typings may overlap so pokemon can still be sniped/in demand
They said for kalos they're gonna have to look at stuff like trading cards and i guess the anime to try and find a possible 6 mons, and if they cant i dont think anyone would mind them just using whatever they want and have emvee use his very stretched logic to justify it lmao
For the next series, you should do Team Crime to the Top, where you use Pokemon by Team Rocket, Team Magma/Aqua, Team Galactic, etc. Since they are a whole team, you can use Pokemon across all members (that way you avoid situations like repeating just Giovanni or being limited to crime leaders without 6 Pokemon).

Im a bit confused on the fact that when Emvee wanted something to be special, he didn't consider either a special or mixed Lucario. I mean, aura sphere aside, it does get psychic via tm along with a couple of other special moves. Not to mention, it gets access to both Calm Mind and Nasty Plot.

The reason you probably didn't do Lance in Gen 2, was because he's the champion in Gen 2, whereas in Gen 1 the Champion is your rival, and Lance is just the fourth member.

I rewatched Kanto to the top after you guys started this series, and I think you have some serious rose-colored glasses about what went down back then. Some of those teams were complete garbage lol, like misty with scarf dragonair. I think the difference between then and now is that the gen 9 power creep was so intense that it's a lot harder to use mediocre pokemon effectively.

Could you at least consider them too. doesn't feel complete without them if you know what I mean. just for out of respect for them.
@@Bolpokmon121 ye we did consider them it's just with the 3 brothers we couldn't exactly do 3 episodes for the 1st gym since it would be repetitive and mixing up their teams into 1 team would have been sorta weird so we just did a less complicated route and did the bw2 gyms with their specific teams since it was more straightforward and each leader had their iconic teams we could use

Unova was such a mid generation for me... I loved playing it cause there were definitely some parts i loved, mostly the electric gym for... Reasons. But yeah, wish the mons couldve been alot better and memorable. Outside of legendaries cause Zekrom and Reshiram and Kyurem are like, atleast my top 3 legendary trio.
