I suggest getting a pack that's already configured for you, makes jumping into it less intimidating. I use Quazii's for m+ and it's helped me so much in understanding what is going on in each dungeon

Amazing video. Do you have a link to JUST the color npc string? I don't want to download the entire profile and change all of the size settings that I made based on my monitor, but I would really love the NPC colors.
I had the same thoughts, as I already had a lot of this addon set up how I like. If you import the profile in the description, you can go to the npc color tap and export the color settings, swap back to your profile, and import color settings. GLHF

Thanks for the video! As a tank, i have colored nameplates for mobs as well as colored indicators for aggro/threat. but aggro/threat color doesnt change when i lose aggro on colored nameplates mobs. is there anyway to let the aggro/threat color change take precedence?
Yep there is a plater setting exactly for that.. Either called 'force threat color' or 'threat color override'.

Thanl youso much i was told, repeatedly, to get plater but it's to challenging to set up (5 strokes, don't ask) now i can at least narrow it down to "this" is important "this" is not.

I somehow have overlapping debuff auras. I want to use the plater auras but i cant figure out which other aura is stacking. I don't think its another addon. Could it be a default game thing i can disable?

When I copy and paste pastebin string I get message saying "This import looks like a profile, import profiles at the Profiles tab. Failed to import the data provided." Any ideas?
Import the profile at the Profiles tab. That's where you import the entire profile (which is what the pastebin string is for) that they mention at the end

Finding issues with importing the string in the pastebin to cut down on a bit of time. Seems to be erroring out saying there is no Wago data. Am I missing something?

it’s sUI, but Lorti UI does the same job with darkening of the UI
ELVUI takes up so many resources though, same with TSM now days. I had to stop using it.

If you hide blizzard nameplates on friendly units, you won't be able to see friendly nameplates in dungeons or raids.
Addons were blocked from modifying the nameplates in patch 7.2

Plater is the best
For real guys. Just donate Naowh and grab his UI, including his Plater. Its Premium configured and updated. Configuring it at its finest by yourself doesnt worth the effort, trust me as an old boomer addicted to WoW since a kid.
In my opinion , if u cant play WoW without addons , u should delete the game.
Is there a way to turn off nameplates that you shouldn’t be seeing. Like for instance the stink breath bridge all the adds underneath?
u can make em completely transparent, like they still will be on the screen interacting with other nameplates, but you won't see them. There's a plater script to hide nameplates for certain mobs
