Remember this a posthumous album. This album came out after his death. These songs were unreleased and unfinished songs and they’re still better than most artist finished songs. There are level to this shit👑

Youve GOT to listen to the original side of the album. In my opinion, its is waaay better than what the producers did on this record.
Although this is a posthumously released album, it has some of Michael's best vocals with Slave to the Rhythm, A Place with No Name, Do You Know Where Your Children Are and Blue Gangsta. Xscape, the song, is a masterpiece and one of the last songs Michael was working on before his passing, and the most recent of the songs included on here. Unlike the others, it was a new song that Michael not only wrote but was involved with the production. When he passed, unexpectedly, his partner Rodney Jerkins put the finishing touches on the track do it could be completed, always keeping MJ's words and vision in mind. Such an amazing track to leave "this problem world," with. I had chills the 2st time I heard him sing that. 🙏🤴🏾❣️🕊️
Michael was a human sound machine and beat boxes , if you listen to he's music he makes he's own sounds, slave to the rhythm, human nature, wanna be starting something and the list goes on..the king of music

I agree but the songs go on too long at the end, its sthe only reason i cant put them in a playlist, but he didnt decide this, the mixing and producing was all done after he died.
@@BelfastManUtdTherapy there's still the original versions if you wanna hear them. To me, Xscape (the song) is WAY better in it's original version. And to me, some songs are just alright with their lenght, Chicago and Slave To The Rythm are great like that

I think like one or two of the remixes are better (chicago and loving you) which kinda makes sense since the originals were demos and unfinished tracks, but some of them like the ones you mentioned they made them way too "modern" when you could tell Mike wasn't going for that direction with the tracks you mentioned, resulting in just bad remixes that don't feel natural.

I been singing these songs so often and i feel I'm actually pretty good in a way. His songs keep me going and get me up.

Like, on one hand - I feel so uncomfortable listening to his post-death albums… because he obviously didn’t feel they were ready to be released. He was such a perfectionist. It’s like reading his diary.

fun fact: the original demo of the song Xscape, for a lot of people who was fond into the whole thing of the death hoax of MJ, to this day, believes that this song was sort of an "i advise you, i'm planning to fake my death cuz i need to exscape and find my peace from some time BUT i will return to you i promise" like, the believers of this whole thing think that MJ is alive and that he will do a boom's day where he will show up
The original version of "a place with no name" fits better, it has a western feel to it

Of course its new. Michael changed a lot from off the Wall to Invincible. This would have been a direction he could have gone. I find it so stupid when fans hate on this album. Mj even released some of his own unfinished songs while he was alive. Yeah he was a perfectionist, but most of all he loved his fans and wanted to give them new material.

Michael went "Off the Wall" , he brought a "Thrill" to Music, he was "BAD" he had a "Dangerous" amounts of power he also made "History" and and not even the media or press could take him down, he shown how "Unbreakable" he was and he will always be "Invincible"
The album is great but some songs did not need to be messed with like Xscape (IMO)

I share your opinion, She was loving me 2010 mix( Chicago) was done by the original producer and I locevthat version. Same goes for Do you know where your children are 2010 is way better than the 2014 mix

Those songs was MJ demo he has about 2000 unteleased songs. Here it's the unfinished results and MJ is not at his best vocaly because he didn't give his all. This album it's just Michaël Jackson's demo 😭😭😭 He would have been embarassed to see those songs release like that 😭
Even if he is Michael Jackson and phenomenal even when he doesn't give his best vocals performances he does better than most of artist. But This in not what honor MJ legacy the most.
