We got to see the Blue Angels practice a lot both at the Navy base in San Diego and the one in Millington, Tennessee when I was a young girl. I have black & white pictures my dad took of them practicing in Tennessee.

WOW! It was like watching a lovely family opening Christmas presents. Actually found myself smiling through the whole video. By the bye, I was a Special Forces (Green Beret) soldier 50 years ago. Recently pulled my green beret and Class A uniform jacket out of the parachute bag I store them in. How foolish of me to think these items would still fit. I weighed 144 pounds back then, now 204 pounds. Even my head got big over the years.
I got him the Green Berets special forces challenge coin after seeing him react to a Green Beret video. Also, thank you for your service to this great nation.

When my family was stationed at Beale Afb; my daughter and I got to meet 2 of the Blue Angels pilots during an air show. So glad ya'll enjoyed the surprises. Ya'll make me smile!!

It is neat to see and hear the accents of our ancestors. My two sons are ginger and ginger-lite. Their names are a giveaway...Logan Daniel and Ian Patrick ...great, hard working young men.
My heart is aching to visit Scotland and Ireland. It's on my bucket list to touch the soil of my ancestors before I die!

I'm so happy you guys love your gifts. I'm glad you got the reason I sent that specific quarter. The government started a program years ago producing a quarter for each state in the order they joined the US only doing 4 states per year. Once out of states they started printing US landmarks. I lucked out in finding the Fort. You are now the proud owner of a Green Berets challenge coin. It's a big thing here in the states with military that whoever has the higher rank coin usually gets their drinks bought for them. Glad the shirt fits and looks great! I'm glad mom and the girls like their presents. Sorry for the oncoming sugar high. Oh the necklaces are shark teeth, not Moana related. We walk the beach here and just find tons of them.

His reaction videos drug me out of a serious covid isolation depression after losing my job of 15 years and then covid hit and I spiraled downward hard. He reminded me that I'm privileged to be in the land of opportunity and I picked myself up by my boot straps and got out of the hole I dug. It's a privilege to call him a friend.
