Agreed, loved the game, it helps with the plot of nier so much and It also had one of the best songs too.
One of the overarching themes of the game is preserving fleeting memories. It's exquisitely ironic and bittersweet that the game will be shut down, and the stories and the memory of them will be carried on by those who were there to play it.
Or at least an anime.....
The story is really good when you get into it. Shame for it to be lost as a game.

Whether or not we get an offline version we’ll at least get to see the final chapter and perhaps have our questions about this game’s lore finally answered. I’m gonna grab what I can, play the final quest, and see what happens next.

It has been such an honor to have gotten to experience this game for the last 2 years, to see it grow and evolve into something truly amazing - the memories of this will last me a lifetime. Thank you, even if it left us way too soon.

It's not canon at all to the other games it's a mobile spin off it's non canon

@@Gilgamesh12129 There's been bits and pieces in the Hidden Stories to keep the theorists and lore nerds on their toes, but it's been coming to a head for months now in the final arc. I won't say how, but it relates to everything in the DrakeNier universe. Replicant and Automata, Drakengard, and even his other mobile game SINoALICE
NieR Reincarnation is essentially the meta level of the Taroverse - it relates to all of the previous games.
Hearing about final chapter and EOS made me resume this game. Last I played was a little after sun and moon started. I gotta learn how to play again. y'all recommend rolling on any characters? especially on the story completion countdown banners which end on the 30th? I'm just after beating the story
and any other tips in general? there's...a lot of upgrade systems now...
Story completion vol. 3 is the best banner, story completion vol. 2 has Yuletide Hunter (Gayle) who is the best healer. Summon on those banners. Use your Mama Character coin on New Year Sarafa. She’s the best character in the game.
Make sure your characters can beat the story, that’s the most important thing about this game. Arena/Subjugation doesn’t matter unless you care to play the game entirely.

@@shon730 update: used all my rolls, kinda didn't matter which story completion banner I did, cuz I got like off rates most of the time. only got like 2 dupes. pretty much all 4 stars were characters I didn't have. nice. Also, my mistake. I actually had 150 rolls, so I can buy 3 characters. im guessing I should get the Gayle you recommended since I somehow didn't get one of her yet. not sure who to get for the other two
@@ncheung4ncheung419glad you got some good stuff. Depending on how your account is, I would encourage you to make strong what you already have (example, use the exchange on a character you need to get Awakened lv. 3. like Abyssal Hina if you got her in the banner)

As a fan of DrakeNieR it pisses me off that because I've been playing every other game in the series I'll possibly miss out on this games story.

I was into it up until recollections of dusk and the boy/girl storyline I lost interest. I’m all for harder content but I just made me have to level up a bunch of random weapons I’d otherwise never use to get the buffs so I wouldn’t die. I was almost done getting the EX characters since they were making it easier to get the Zenith thingy. But overall yeah lovely graphics but the game got really repetitive. The cage was always full auto 😂 I’m horrible.

Not much! if you start the game NOW and play daily (focusing on the main story only) you can get to the final chapter in a week, sure can play the entire thing before the end of service
there are 3 Arcs (with the new chapters being part of the third one)
1st arc has 12 chapters
2nd arc has 6 chapters
3rd arc has 5 chapters (+ one releasing next week)
each chapter has 4 "main" missions and 6 extra battles
You can't spend money on the game anymore and it was never a game where spending money was really necessary to beat it. If you start now the game will give you a ton of resources to unlock characters and any of the newer ones can pretty much solo the game by themselves.

I'm not into mobile gaming overall, but the only Square Enix mobile game that I'm looking forward to is KH Missing Link.

The only reason I have not played this is because it never got released on PC.
I don't play games on my phone, it is clumsy and very uncomfortable for my hands. It causes me pain as my hands start to cramp up. To me, phones are not for gaming. They are for Reddit, CZcams and phone calls.
Shame, seems cool. But I am not playing on phone.

What was the point of making a mobile canon nier when its gonna end? Players wont have any access to it anymore. But I guess for lore, CZcams exists for story summary.

Yoko Taro has said himself that Reincarnation is NieR 3 and that he doesn't mind that only a certain number of people will get to play it.
Honestly this is the most Yoko Taro thing to do, like make NieR 4/Drakengard 4 appear wildly different to previous titles(happy sunshine fantasy) only to reveal halfway through Reincarnation’s events caused everything to happen and reveal the grim dark truths about what exactly happened so far
