Caro’s number #1 defence is to talk over somebody before they can even finish there point, cannot take criticism but is more then happy to dish it out.
The fact that Caro attacks Kane’s memory amongst other ad hominem barbs, talks over him immediately as he puts his case then raises her voice to try & talk over him shows how sensitive & vulnerable her journalism is. If she’s so staunch in her belief(s), why not defend it respectfully instead of throwing a little tanty because someone called your article into question?
Caro goes to toddler tactics because she can’t cop fair criticism, then accuses everyone else of doing it to try & hide her bruised ego.

All Richmond supporters would agree including Carrow that based on Richmonds last few years we don't deserve the primetime games. She was just stating a fact. Kane tried to have his gotcha moment and it backfired. Even Hutchy agreed with what she was saying.

Tigers are a rabble and it won’t be just this season. Only the eagles are in worse shape. 12 to 24 months it is going to be real ugly. Also anyone think that the cats are a chance this year are kidding themselves. They do have a handful of talent under 30 but not a lot of A graders coming through. They will not be a threat for the next decade either.

To be fair to Caro, she explained to Kane that he was taking her comments out of context and she wasn't complaining at all but she was just comparing the difference of where the Tigers are at compared to where they were . Then 20 seconds later he repeated she was complaining. Take her words & explanation as being the truth or call her out for backpaddling and lying. Kane got the day wrong because he was the one lying & didn't listen to the segment on the radio at all.

When North lost TT as the result of AFL involvement they lost far more than any assistance they received from the AFL.
Did anyone else notice the strange edit at 3.21? On the live episode Kane's face quickly changed when he saw the graphic comparing Richmond's and Port Adelaide’s stats. He looked stunned. They were pretty much the same figures. Karen's hate for Richmond is hilarious 😂😂

Richmond is yesterday's news. They've had their extended period in the limelight, but that time is well and truly over. Richmond were a very popular pick for bottom 4 this year and won't be playing finals anytime soon again. They made a mistake to trade for Taranto and Hopper, which will delay their rebuild. Caro has blinkers on when she defends her precious Richmond, whilst she gets stuck into everyone else.

Richmond have made their own bed with those terrible decisions at the end of 2022.
Now they are stuck and just have to be patient.
People are saying that Richmond aren't that bad and obviously you need to give Yze time, but after 7 rounds if you look at the major stats categories Richmond are down the bottom for most of the key ones which is very alarming: disposal efficiency, total clearances, stoppage clearances (last), disposals, contested and uncontested possessions, centre clearances, goals, fantasy points (17th), tackles and I50 tackles (16th). So basically, they are not putting pressure on, not winning contested ball or clearances and not using the ball well.
Undisciplined acts is completely characteristic of Richmond for the last few years…

People bag the Eagles and Hawthorn for their list management but geez the way Richmond are playing so far this season and looking at their list profile, Martin, Dustin 32yr, Grimes, Dylan, Pickett, Marlion 32yr, Prestia, Dion 31yr, Lynch, Tom 31yr, Broad, Nathan 31yr, McIntosh, Kamdyn 30yr, Vlaustin, Nick 30yr - really only Bolton and Balta and the Riolis under 26 who you'd ride home about. Richmond are in real real trouble if you ask me.
Toby Nankervis is only about 4 months younger than Kamdyn McIntosh, Nankervis is born 12th August 1994 and McIntosh is born 3rd of April 1994 beside the point both only have a year left in them both.

The age and games played stat is heavily skewed though. Richmond had Campbell, mansell, lefau, brown, trezise,Miller, banks, Clarke and Dow all with under 35 games and most under 10.

Tiges have to start again. They have already lost from their off-field Hardwick, Kingsley, McCrae, McQualter, X.Clarke, Matt Clarke (recruiter), and Hayden Hill (stat analyst), and possibly Gale at end of season - a massive loss for any team, and they must replace them with the same quality.
For the list, every player over 27 needs to be looked at. Over the last 5 years, too many good juniors have been lost to maintain Hardwick's favoured group.
Taranto and Hopper are good, not great players, yet cost 4 early round picks. 4 talented juniors lost.
The club leadership, The Board, slept on their laurels for 2 years too long. If we start now, it takes 2 years longer. Younger players must be given chances to learn. Talented core players need to show leadership. Talented juniors need to be drafted.
How bad would the tigers be without Taranto?
Ordinary player. Gave up 2 first rounders. Hopper 2 first rounders. It will be the club back another 5 years with these 2.
Bad.. Prestia very injury prone and maybe one concussion away from retirement
Dow and Hopper need to lift big time, Jack Ross in the middle is a good play and he's a player who needs to be in the team every week
It's the guys like McIntosh, Pickett, Maurice Rioli, Samson Ryan and Koschitzke who are also a big worry

Big difference is Collingwood prior that awful 2021 season literally played Finals footy for 3 seasons straight. So they always had the list to get back up there. When it comes to the Swans, they had a plethora of outstanding young talent coming through plus the arrival of Don Pyke as Assistant Coach which finally allowed them to become an exciting team going forward instead of the dull as dish water defensive gameplan they had used for far too long.
Quite simply the Tigers have neither of those things. Their list is horribly average, aging, they have lost a great deal of leadership and experience which will only get worse in the coming years and most of the their young talent coming through range from been very mediocre to straight up VFL standard. At this point they desperately need top end talent from the draft for the next few years.

To be honest Dustin martin has lost his way I don't think his heart is it any more after losing his father he has been like a fish out of water and i dont blame him for that losing a parent is a massive loss that can derail any person especially if they dont feel as supported by those around him.
