Bought a minilogue two years ago that I couldn't come to grips with for the longest time. Really having a blast with it now thanks to these vids.
This series is fantastic. Thank you, friends!
Oh, wow! I finally understand the purpose of parallel filters. Thanks! I had always just put them in series or only use one.
I kept thinking you were playing the opening notes of The District Sleeps Alone Tonight. I checked... and you were. 😀 Great info and demo as always! You're making me want a Hydrasynth too.
Very generous of you. Awsome series! Thanks so very much!!!
Daniel, you’re amazing with Synths. This series of lessons is Excellent!! Thank you very much! 👏
Thank you for this essential synthesis understanding tutorial
Love the dual filter. Thanks!!
Hi Millard. There are so many interesting things you can do with two filters that can be serial or parallel. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
Comprehensive. I’ll be using that high pass filter for bass and double filter techniques. I’ll stay tuned in!
Fantastic series! Thanks!!
Great stuff Daniel!
Awesome informations
Great series! Really enjoying it.
Thank you Daniel, so helpful.
Excellent work as always 👍
Hello Daniel. There is another point you didn't discuss : how to recognize and choose between Ladder, Sem and Steiner Parker filters?
We get these three types in the Hydrasynth and it's not so easy to choose.
Thank you very much.
I love your videos.
But please consider losing the background synth music. It’s superfluous and distracting. In my opinion. It draws my attention away from the sonic comparisons you are trying to make.
But really, great videos. You are talented and knowledgeable, and a good teacher.
would be slightly more useful to have close up view on the screens
Hello sir! Do you have a favorite/preferred synth for creating Synthwave music? Hardware / VST? Thank you so much!
Can you please tell me what the opening background music is? I could swear I heard a Speak N Spell buried in there somewhere!
Hi Kinkie Pink. The song is called LoveMachine and I created it using only an Arturia MicroFreak. You can hear the rest of it in my MicroFreak video demo:

Thanks Daniel - I have a question - How do you identify filter features or types in songs? This has been one of the hardest to understand in songs. For example , what kind of filter features did this artist use for the high accented crescendo synths that float over the track? I think its around the 21:30 min mark of your vid - It sounds like the artist used the arpeggiator but can you describe how they are changing the sound? It sounds very unique.

Also can you do a video where you identify filter features in songs and how to mimic them for learning purposes? That would be A1.
