Some people get called a Karen even if they have a reason to ask for a manager. Iv seen videos where an employee messed up and the customer asked for a manager and got called a Karen. An example was at a restaurant the order was wrong and when they said so the employee got an attitude so a manager was requested and the employee called her a Karen.
Pennsylvania v Mims states an officer's command to exit a vehicle cannot be refused. This is in all fifty states. So even if you wish not to present ID, exercise your Fourth (right to refuse search and seizure of property by not consenting to same) and Fifth Amendment Rights (you can remain silent to refuse unwittingly incriminating yourself-- although not identifying yourself may result in a criminal charge for interfering in an investigation). If asked to exit the vehicle and a person does not comply, they can be charged with several possible misdemeanors, and one of a couple different felonies depending on circumstances, and an officer has the discretion to use force if he deems it necessary.
When dealing with police, if you are a signal to pull over for a traffic stop, turn on your hazards, look for the closest safe place that is highly visible in public to pull over. Comply with all commands that the officer gives you, refuse to consent to any search or seizure, but do not physically prevent them from trying to search anything that you own. Give your name, if told to present your id, tell the officer while doing so that you admit to no wrongdoing and inform them that you were unaware as to why you were stopped. Remain polite and respectful, volunteer no information and politely answer all questions with a request that you're allowed to remain silent as per your fifth amendment rights. If you receive a traffic citation, do not argue with the officer. Sign whatever they have you sign verbally explaining that you do not admit to anything, and get clear instructions as to which courthouse will handle your case if you refuse to pay and want to fight the citation.
If you are new to and replaced under arrest remain quiet. No matter how much they make question you, remain quiet. Once you are assigned legal counsel, which most likely will be a public defender, request the public defender clarify what charges were laid against you. Your legal counsel will determine what is best to tell the police based upon what occurred and what role you did or didn't have in whatever happened. If you never consented to a search, even if they find something in your possession it's very possible to have the court completely through the case out, because you never consented to any search meaning any search committed requires the police to prove that you had committed a crime that precipitated the search. Failing this proof that you were guilty of a crime prior to them searching you, they would have to throw out all charges against you.
all of this is why you must remain courteous and professional with police, while offering as little information as humanly possible, even with Innocent questions. You must always remember that anything you say can and will be used against you, and even a question as simple as where are you heading is no officers business.

I would genuinely be surprised if we get a rare not guilty from any of these at any point but you never know until you see the evidence for yourself I guess. Man, the amount of people who just yap to the cops is astounding.
To anyone who comes across my comment: your job when you get stopped is to be cordial, neutral, and relatively compliant. I say relatively because a cop's job is not to know the law, it's to enforce it, and having known many friends, family, and others who have gotten degrees in LE and gone on to work on the force, they don't teach them anything even remotely related to what you'd get in a typical law curriculum. They exist to make scratch (slang for cash) for their locality, most of which gets bureaucratically wasted, and to act as the de facto low-tier governmental military force without being actual soldiers.
Be polite, unambiguous, and above all, shut up. They are the referees of the real world; they're not going to rescind something because you 'plead your case', they're most likely going to back out of a citation to avoid paperwork or going to court and taking another L. Most stops would end with a warning if people grasped that the goal is to be non-threatening and make the cop feel both 'safe' (whatever that word means these days) and assuage their egos to some degree, assuming you haven't done something very obviously illegal or something where the cop has you dead-to-rights.
Read your laws on search & seizure, because many states will not allow searching of cars or personal property without multiple officers on the scene. Do not resist arrest and make a scene, because that will add to your charges, and is a great way to go from misdemeanor to felony quickly. Record everything, and if you know it's garbagio, win in court. Most citations are bullpucky, and despite what LEOs say, they do have quotas to hit like any other job out there, so don't give them any reasons or means to justify what is probably a way to pay for the Chief of Police's new Mercedes or some other unnecessary expense driving your mill rates up.
edit: on the whole 'TTS' nontroversy, as much as I love her, Kirsche's a perfect example of this. It works because her chat is full of great knowledge nuggets, or actually funny. Most chats aren't, and in a lot of cases, the chats are straight unmitigated cancer. The last thing anyone wants, whether they want to say it or not, is to metastasize that via TTS.

I found the guy doing the compilation really annoying because he kept editorialising - we don't need him to tell us that the Karen was being COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS or that her actions were COMPLETELY UNJUSTIFIED, we can see and judge that for ourselves. He kept setting the narrative before every section of video when if he just played it without that it would be perfectly self-evident on its own.
"I don't know how much more I want to listen to this" this is why I find cop footage a bit hard to watch. It's not about the grim stuff, it's not about good folk struggling, it's the annoying people.
Not being able to control your emotional outbursts and getting loud about it is definitely a sign of being guilty. That crap can singlehandedly make you commit crimes thinking it's justified.
