I 💯 agree about our Parents not telling us about credit at an earlier age. 😕
The only "financial" words spoken in my home was, "the bank is your friend." Whatever that meant. Now I'm 45 and just getting my credit together thanks to people on CZcams.
I got a secured card during summer of 2020 and had to provide a $200 deposit (so the credit line was $200). Fast forward to December of 2021 and my card is now unsecured, my credit line is now $1800, , AND I’m getting my $200 deposit back😊. It definitely helps build credit with responsible use!

I’m so happy I found your channel. I’m currently in college about to go graduate school. I’m in the mid 700s now but I’m trying to lift to the 800s. Sadly I’m new to having credit. I also plan to own a house within the next 8-10 years so I plan to eliminate my student loan as soon as possible. Your videos are very helpful and are preparing me for more financial security and stability.

Awesome video. I loved the analogy with transcripts and GPA compared to credit reports and credit score. I am a Personal Financial Advisor and I too work with people who are trying to buy a home but don't have the credit score to qualify. I also consider myself a financial educator and consumer advocate. I totally agree with you when it come to teaching at an early age. I have taught Financial Literacy classes to students in junior high, high school, as well as adults. I also have a CZcams channel where I post a new personal finance lesson each week. Sounds like we have a lot in common. Keep up the great work.

I fixed my bad credit report with the help of a credit repair specialist who I was referred to by my colleague, they helped me improve my bad credit and erased all the negative items affecting my score negatively. I’m in California, I bought a vehicle, but in my shopping I had 12 hard inquiries done in a one month period, I have heard (and I can’t remember where) that in Ca. if you BUY a vehicle within 30 days of the first inquiry that any inquiries within that 30 day period would be combined into ONE inquiry. But this has not been changed on my reports which is giving me headache along side collections, charge offs & tax liens but few weeks ago I read about Credit MasterFix, LLC from an article created from 2015 by a UK blogger. They didn’t only delete all negative items that’s giving me headache, they also raise by score by 285pts in under 3 weeks, I can’t thank you enough.. for similar assistance look them up creditmasterfix.com.
Hi everyone, I live in the state of Nevada. And as of a month ago I still needed help with my credit score. I had nowhere to turn to, My credit score was 569, I wanted it a little higher and probably my old accounts deleted although most of them I had no idea why they were there because I never opened accounts with credit card. I went on internet to search for help and I found the credit expertise in Credit MasterFix LLC cause I saw someone recommend them ASAP. We got started with the process with some few questions and a little display of competency as a proof of legitimacy. The good news is that he did all he said he will do (deleted the accounts, erased all the inquiries and eventually raised my score to a 805 excellent score. No need for 800. All you need is to get to 750. The 750 person gets the same rate as me with 800s scores. 800 does look nice 🙂
