@@DlAlYlVlilD another sad thing to mention is, when silco reached for the gun, he did it without hesitation even though it was a risk. He knew jinx loved vi and would do anything for her, even kill him if he did harm vi. So he probably knew jinx would hurt him when seeing him pointing a gun at vi.
Idc if silco is toxic, his relationship with jinx was precious. He accepted her just the way she was, he never tried to change her unlike vi did trying to convince that powder was still in there.
Another thing to point out is the fact that Vi herself is the one who made Powder into Jinx in the first place, not intentionally of course. Her actions and words are what broke Powder, apart from her own guilt over what she had done which tormented her for years. Jinx herself told Vi that it was her who created "Jinx" not Silco, yet she couldn't accept her sister for who she had become because she was no longer that fragile and sweet child Vi knew. Silco was just as broken as Jinx, finding solution to his own pain by breaking away from the past fears and regret, which is what he did for Jinx by erasing Powder, the trauma that tormented her, and embracing Jinx, with all of her imperfections. Even in his dying moment he comforted Jinx so that she wouldn't see his death as another horrifying act that would haunt her, like her past did. Meanwhile Vi, unknowingly, hurt her sister by bringing up the past which caused her to almost completely breakdown. Silco knew this and tried to stop Vi, because he couldn't watch his daughter go through the torment he was desperately trying to save her from. 💔

What I love about Arcane is the amazing characterization as every character isn't perfect, nor are they just evil for the sake of being evil. Silco is a complex character with gray morals. He wished for Zaun to flourish and to be truly seen, as the people are suffering, while the upper city is turning a blind eye and selfishly enjoying their luxuries without consideration of the tormented souls living bellow. Silco wanted justice, but went about it the wrong way and caused havoc, blinded as well by his own hatred for those who wronged him. He took in Jinx because he saw her as a mirror of himself and Zaun as a whole, broken and imperfect, and he embraced her for the way she is, unlike Vi who kept trying to change her despite the fact that it was her own act to turn away from her sister (she did sadly try to come back, but well..) that made her the way she is, apart from many other factors that twisted Jinx's mind, such as her own guilt for what she had done trying to "save" her loved ones.

Silco and Jinx we're just both products of their environment. I consider Silco a GOOD FATHER FOR JUST THAT. He had no tools, no guidance to take her in BUT. HE. DID. After all that a life of being a underground dwelling less fortunate individual HE HAD SOMETHING MOST OF THOSE HE DEALT WITH DIDN'T. Seeing Powder in that state of absolute longing, being abandoned when she was just trying to SAVE her sister. She revived his empathy, he nurtured her for bringing back something he thought was entirely lost. EVEN WHEN HE COULD HAVE HIS ZAUN. His dream, his whole reason for all his strife. He even went against his own belief of obtaining power by any means. For a girl that wasn't even his, that only caused problems, that he really had no material gain for having her around. Silco is a perfect example of a parent, a realistic parent that had no structure to grow on. A perfect example of paternal love. Parents aren't perfect, people aren't perfect, but they can at their core really love someone. He proved it at every turn. Even in dying "....Shh...Shhh... No, no... Don't cry. You're perfect" Not who anyone wanted her to be, not who Jinx think she is. Just for her BEING, she was PERFECT.

Very nice video! For anyone still mourning this masterful tragedy, in particular this bond between Jinx and Silco, I suggest check the almost half hour long incredible analysis video done by psycotherapist Georgia Dow here on CZcams. She breaks down the details in depth, and she inevitably gets emotional during her video a few times. Title of the video is "Arcane: Silco and Jinx - Therapist Reacts!"
The music of the song immediately made me tear up. This is so so beautiful. From the tragic music in the background, the voiceovers, the compiled clips and showing of parallels, this has become one of my favourite edits ever. Thank you for uploading and unwillingly making me cry 🥹💙💙
I honestly can’t believe he’s dead. I feel that he’s alive somehow like when silco saved jinx before. I really hope thats the case cus their relationship is too precious
In the 3rd Act, Silco realized that Vander was not weak; he took the responsibility of raising his adopted children and not start fights with the city above.
This is a beautiful edit💙 I finished the show yesterday and honestly the relationship between them is one of my favorite parts of the show. silco was going to kill powder just like he intended with the rest of her family but upon realizing that he actually understands what powder is feeling, he decides to take her in instead. Clearly he was a bad man who did awful things but he wasn’t pure evil. He was still a human who has gone through his own life of pain and unfortunately because of his own trauma he didn’t know how to help powder heal and instead he teaches her to push down her past self because that’s what he did. He wasn’t a “good” father as he taught powder to kill and, in a way he encouraged the crazy side of her. But he truly did love her and he was the only one who accepted her as she is. By the end he realizes that he now understands vander and would rather give up his dream that he has worked on for years instead of giving up jinx. He is a complex character but I don’t see him as a pure villain and by the end he had truly changed but unfortunately his life was cut short after that. But his last words… “you are perfect”. Opposite to when she accidentally killed her friends/family as kid and vi called her a jinx, silco made sure she knew that even with all her flaws and mistakes she was still perfect. the relationship was very flawed but he was her father, she was his daughter and there was genuinely love there. Sorry idk I’m just ranting here🤧
Damn I have not even seen the show yet and I originally wasn't planning on, but this made me cry my eyes out and I'm probably going to check for a way to watch it.
With someone toxic, life has it's incredible highs and horrible lows but it still feels better than nothing. Their story shows it so well. Silence and nothing brings out the shadow that hounts you till you go blank.
I love how Jinx didn't even cried for her sister when she got kidnapped by those skeleton masks but cried so much deeply pain and sorrow for her father after her sister abandoned her only family who stayed with her till the end was her father Silco doesn't even get mad at Jinx and does anything to cherish her but can't really show his emotions because of his tragic past
I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN YOU TO THEM......FOR ANYTHING.... for a man to say this. when he spent his entire existence. Trying to fight for his peoples nation. Wow silco. wow.....he loved jinx with that level of compassion.
Hey, thank you SO MUCH for watching!

She breaks down the details in depth, and she inevitably gets emotional during her video a few times. Title of the video is "Arcane: Silco and Jinx - Therapist Reacts!"
thank you! I have seen this one yeah
He really loves and cares about Jinx
RIP Silco
A beautiful video for two incredible characters. Great work!
thank you!
Great editing and the song fits perfectly, I always think silco sings this song lmao
Thank you! ❤️
The parallels in this video holy shit what a masterpiece
Thank you!!’
I smell...*sniff* underated creator
it means a lot, thank you
Wish my dad loved me this unconditionally
The music of the song immediately made me tear up. This is so so beautiful. From the tragic music in the background, the voiceovers, the compiled clips and showing of parallels, this has become one of my favourite edits ever. Thank you for uploading and unwillingly making me cry 🥹💙💙
This video is magic, brilliant.
I honestly can’t believe he’s dead. I feel that he’s alive somehow like when silco saved jinx before. I really hope thats the case cus their relationship is too precious
She is perfect just like Silco said...
In the 3rd Act, Silco realized that Vander was not weak; he took the responsibility of raising his adopted children and not start fights with the city above.
Silco loved jinx he would have done anything for her💜
I always see that part that the bad guy takes care of the hero but only to take advantage of his power but he really loves her so much
ı never saw such an amazing video like this before :))
thank you!
Sorry idk I’m just ranting here🤧
wow thank you and thank you for sharing!! Yeah they are beautiful 💔💔
They are perfect.
Damn I have not even seen the show yet and I originally wasn't planning on, but this made me cry my eyes out and I'm probably going to check for a way to watch it.
You spoiled yourself
With someone toxic, life has it's incredible highs and horrible lows but it still feels better than nothing. Their story shows it so well.
Silence and nothing brings out the shadow that hounts you till you go blank.
Me hizo llorar Arcane.
He trusted her enough to let her inject that stuff in his eye and from what I saw in the series he only ever did it himself I love silco and jinx
3:26 I love that overlap gosh it’s brilliant 😭💙
I'm crying I'm crying, I love them so much
0:49 - 0:52 this is the best part
these people really knows how to write a good essay
No shit, arcane is what non of us expected from lol
I love this video keep up the great work I love Arcane u matched everything perfectly so good I love your videos
he was a great father. even though he was the villain, he’d give anything to protect jinx.

Thank you!!!
I really love this.
