I feel so sorry for these sisters, but I feel especially sorry for Vi. At not even 10 years old everything she ever knew was lost in ash except for her baby sister. Then, when she finally got a new family, one that she swore to look after and protect, they got taken away from her too. Perhaps the worst part is that the one time she slips up, the one time she isn’t patient and maternal to Powder and finally loses her temper, her very freedom is taken away, with her last vision being her beloved little sister in the clutches of the villain that took everything away from her. I can’t imagine how many nights Vi must’ve spent in Stillwater torturing herself for the last words she ever said to Powder. How many days she wanted to give up but didn’t just so she could live to find her sister again, only to find that Powder was gone and it was indirectly her fault…
You get it. I’m so sick of seeing everyone blame and hate on vi for simply behaving like a traumatised child who just lost everything for the second time. She’s such a strong person, I love her
Yeah I do feel really bad for Vi. And also how powder didn’t believe her monkey bombs would work, she said this to Vi and Vi told her it will, and the one time it does work it becomes her worst trauma and kills her bros n Vander. This show does a great job at making you feel so deeply for both sisters. Because Vi believed in her sister when she didn’t believe in herself, they both carry so much guilt and pain
You can't really pin the fault on anyone but Silco to be honest because his contribution to the course of events was easily the highest. Many people were indirectly responsible for what happened which include Powder (a lot more blame can be placed on her than Vi). Vi was one of the minor players in terms of fault but she had to bear the highest brunt of the consequences and I've come to find out that some people blame her entirely... which is ludicrous. She suffered the most and still tried to make things better, which makes her the best character in my opinion.
I just wish she'd killed Sevika in any of the multiple chances she had, that good heart bit her in the ass quite a few times. Powder has killed hundreds of people probably and everyone loves her, maybe Vi ought to cross that line too.

Her sister the only person who truly loved and cared about her looked at her with hate, punched her in the face and targets her insecurities by calling her the very thing she dislikes her insecurities about measuring up to the rest of the group. She also carries the burden of knowing she killed her brothers that she killed Vander she was abandoned. Vi isn't entirely at fault. Silco is to blame for most of it but so is Vi. And instead of trying to save her sister from Silco shes getting side tracked trying to stop silco, side tracked with Ekko, side tracked with Jayce and most of all Caitlyn.
The ending…”you’re perfect” it will always get me… this edit is so well done and beautiful

I thought he was only using her but that ending hurt because he truly loved her as a daughter and forgave her for killing him
It's actually that vacant look in Jinx's eyes, as Powder dies inside her, that gets me. 😭
I always feel like my stomachs about to turn when I hear Vi or Ekko talk about Jinx as if she's someone different, someone "bad" that needs to go away so Powder can return. My heart always breaks and I get this indescribable sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, when I hear "I thought you could love me like you used to, even though I'm different". Schizophrenia runs in my family and I know first hand what paranoia can do to people. Jinx isn't a different person, she's just Powder with a mental illness. It will never sit right with me that seemingly everyone in the show (aside from Silco) refuses to acknowledge that she is a whole and worthy person despite her illness. She's truly alone after she inadvertantly kills the only person who can make her feel like she's perfect just the way she is, illness and all.
Whole and worthy person? She's a fcking maniac.
Underrated comment. Powder and Jinx are the same person, two sides of the same coin. Jinx was always inside her, and a part of Powder will always be there too. Silco was not a good father and he enabled her worst destructive tendencies and told her to let Powder die but at least he loved her the way she was and didn't try to fix her or something.

i actually need to stop doing this to myself-
I don't think it's to late for either of them to apologize. Yes vi shouldn't have said that she was a jinx but she was a kid herself she did the right thing where you should walk away but stay in close distance to breath for a second to calm down which is actually what an adult would do. She was always in sight and she tried coming back. Vi was in jail for years. Course they have to get reacquainted but this is like in the span of 3 days. As for saying that vi changed Vi never ever had killed anyone before so it's unreasonable to expect that she would have killed Caitlin especially when the only reason she was out of prison was because Caitlin got her out which is the only reason she was able to then find jinx in the first place and then she even said forget about me and was willing to say let's just go off together like we always were they could have relearned who each other was now and build on that relationship I mean vi immediately had said I understand you did what you had to do to survive and it doesn't matter we're back together that's all that mattered to her.

In the beginning, I felt the scenes were just a bunch of random clips that didn't have a centralized focus or emotion and it felt messy. but after 1:21, really liked how you handled things. (That edit on the slap was clean)

Truly I feel bad for both of the sisters, me and my sister went through a fucked up separation not exactly like this but it’s relatable asf.. people stepping into your lives trying to negate who’s worst and who you should be against.. in the end me and my sister reunited and decided it was never our faults it was the people around us that tried to manipulate and influence us. If we had no one trying to purposely separate us we would never had went through the pain we both endured individually. Crazy enough it’s made us who we are today. Sadly for these 2 sisters idk if it will ever get to that point of acceptance in a positive light.

(not english speaking here hope it will be understandable) what makes this show a masterpiece is that everyone has a part of à good reason to act as a monster, everyone shows that they love and protect their people, they have visions for a better way to live...but they ALL are eating back the consequencies of their actions...i personnaly like everyone (but Milo thought...) even Silco.. His heart was broken, he's almost been killed by his almost brother...he only wanted his people to have à better life (at the beginning) he loooOOoved Jinx as a father exactly the way she is...
I warch this everyday it reminds me to never stop fight for what You love...

Vi indirectly, killed Powder and gave birth to Jinx. There was still hope to resurrect Powder, but it ended on the bridge with a Ekko. Powder resurfaced for the brightest of moments where she set loose a grenade. I think Powder wanted the pain to end. I hope Jinx survives season two but I really doubt it.

I think Vander was using manipulation on vi for good intentions. He saw himself and his legacy in vi so he wanted to make her like him and if not then a better version. He tells her to look after Powder because she is the only one that can control her and get through to her on a better level than anyone else can.

I didn't want to watch this series at first, I had a prejudice against the lol game and it was reflected in this series, but I was quite wrong, powder.. violet should not have experienced both of them, it should have stayed as jinx powder, even if it was just an animation, those experiences were conveyed so well that I thought I was going crazy while watching it. which I still feel
imagine if Vi didn't left Powder, may be they already been killed by Silco

The writers for that movie did an absolutely superb job with the character creation and amazing job with the first season storyline. But i don't believe they will at all he able to out do what they wrote into season one. season one was just too perfect, and most of the important characters in storyline didn't survive. Can't fill in gaps where their story had none to begin with.
