I absolutely loved CoD Ghosts. There was never anything really wrong with it apart from the colours of the maps well a bit dull. But like Nero said, Infinty Ward attempted to innovate, and I think the did a great job at doing so. Most of the Ghosts haters are probably just sheepish tag alongs who just followed what their favourite CZcamsr said about the game. But overall Ghosts was amazing. Campaign was really fun and interesting, multiplayer was very fun as there was not many guns to were too op like in other cods, and extinction was great too as it was fun with friends and you also had something to aim for unlike regular zombies

Imo ghosts was one of the best newer cods. It had great connection and hit detection! The guns melted people just like mw2. There was no lag compensation. Overall it felt right at an engine standpoint. I don't respect the haters of this game. I loved it in its prime, but I wouldnt go back to it like I would cod4/waw/mw2/blops1.
haleme883 ikr this game fixed so many connection issues and just overall bugs, weapon balance, and gameflow felt so good. At least you're not getting constantly spawntrapped because your team is playing like pussies and you have to regain map control yourself like in bo2, or the bullshit hit detection in really old cod games. This game should've been reviewed better, especially since bf4 wasn't playable for like 2 months after the full release.

Ghosts is my favorite COD to date and had the best dlc maps to date. You can be Michael Myers on fog which is an amazing map. The dlc maps were MUCH more colorful.

I remember tons of CZcamsrs complaining about I.E.D.s and how they kept dying to them not realizing there's a perk called Sitrep in the game.
And blast shield. They all wanted their little speed perks and were too stupid to try another setup.
True story. Some of the bigger CZcamsr's got A LOT of things nerfed into the ground. I really hate the influence some of these guys have on the development.

and you could survive them with blast shield, yet they still nerfed them so now when ya hear the beep all you need to do is jump and you survive. they all complained about the guard dog being OP so they nerfed him to the point he acts like a blind dog with 1 leg. trust me youtubers are the death of cod. ghosts was a good game problem was it was just so different from b02.
Honestly, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the multiplayer, the Campaign was pretty damn good in my opinion.
But I will admit, occasionally my friends and I have "throwback" sessions and will play Ghosts for a night and actually enjoy ourselves.
I also wouldn't mind a Ghosts 2 at all.
And to answer your question, I've mostly been playing BO3 Zombies. Zombie Chronicles is still ridiculously fun in my opinion. Especially with friends.

infinite warfare isnt even as bad as people say it is. u just gotta get used to it first. its actually refreshing and new in my opinion. not to mention a lot of people agree that it is the only game that got the jetpack movements right. its really not that bad.
yep. In Bo3 I feel like they add a damage buff to floaters as opposed to rewarding good aim.

Nv4 has a slow fire rate and is at least a 4 shot kill. It's far from overpowered. It gets beat in TTK by lots of guns.

CoD Ghosts was the first cod I started getting good at cod and I liked it because of that. KEM after KEM was so much fun but the things I disliked about Ghosts did outway the good. From the huge colorless maps, the fast melty time to kill, IEDs, Riley, and a lot more it was an annoying experience as well. I absolutely loved the DLC maps though because they all had really fun and cool themes and they were a GREAT change up from the big default maps. I loved the weapon DLC, the strike packages and also watching CZcams during that time was definitely really fun. Seeing your videos, driftors, prestige is keys and a whole lot more was a fun time!
This was the first call of duty I didn't play religiously throughout its life cycle. I generally play every cod game regularly till the next one comes out and this one I just didn't do that.

Gi1bert1 it was the perfect cod. Dlc maps were fucking dope! Best hit detection. Kick ass guns. Lots of customization gear, camo and fun map unique streaks. Ac130, Harrier, nuke and the predator. Extinction was fun as hell.
My favorite thing about ghosts was a designated weapon class for marksman rifles. They also arguably the best gun in game within the class. Mr28 was like an m21ebr (mw2)or svu (bo2) or even an fal (b02) all mixed into 1 gun. Had a scope and fast super fast fire rate like the m21 has a great 2 shot kill potential like the svu and a 20 round mag like fal and added extended mag was 34. The fun was a force to be reckoned with
I liked Ghosts, and I'd be more excited for a decent Ghosts 2 than the frankly underwhelming WWII. The only times I had a problem with it was playing against people with ghillie suits and thermal scopes hiding in bushes...
Gun balance was perfect hit detection amazing kill streaks balanced specialist field orders dlc maps were fun BOOTS ON THE GROUND. People bitched about this game and look what happened iw should of made a ghost 2 would of done way better than infinite bullshit activision has to much say in what devs create imo

Ghosts has always been a favorite of mine. It's one of my top 3 behind WaW and BO2.
CoD ghosts is one of my favorite CoD games after CoD4(NOT counting CoD 1 and 2 as they were NOT multiplayer focused, though they are my absolute favorites).
I loved everything about ghosts, the tons of guns and near excellent gun balance, the complex map design that required a lot of awareness, checking and positioning, the level up and perk system and balance was epic. The squad stuff was fun, the net code, oh the net code was epic, best cod hit registration ever. Really the only thing I did NOT like about CoD ghosts are the players that choose to camp instead of play the game.
I think ghost is if not my favorite game. I loved the oracle and the dog. The guns were useable and strong. I loved that tac inserts were strictly infected and shotguns were actually balanced.

Ghosts on PS4 is actually really bad... I really liked it on 360 but den I finally upgraded to next gen, I switched to ps4 and played ghosts on it and it was so unbearable. The FPS drops to under 10 every like 20 seconds, the lag is really bad, and it's just extremely buggy. I wish they'd update it, then I could really enjoy it again :/

Lockon stratos every play through I watch with someone on ghosts on PS4, they're always having the huge dip in frames which is the most annoying part

I don't experience none of those issues and Ghosts actually looks amazing on PS4 compared to the old gen versions...

Minor detail in ghosts that I love was the sniping aesthetic. When you looked down the scope of a rifle, it would only zoom in through the scope and not the peripheral vision. I think this was the only call of duty to ever do that... even in WWII it doesn't render them as two different levels of zoom....

hands down one of my favorite games. I barely played mwr, iw, and got bored of bo3 after a while. But his game kept me playing for a long time.
I literally also went back and played this a couple days ago. I’ve come to the conclusion that if the maps and killstreaks were better this would actually be a good game. The guns are good, the graphics are good, the campaign isn’t terrible, extinction mode was actually pretty fun if you played with friends, and the create a class wasn’t that bad. It also introduced a ton of stuff like the customization.

I remember the ghillie suit in Ghost. You had to get like 500 kills with the Chrome Barrel attachment on the sniper. It was so infuriating for me that I just gave up after 300 something kills.
The perk system is awesome. It definitely gives more options and doesnt limit your play style. I hardly use secondaries or grenades so being able to switch that out for more perks is great.

CoD Ghost is way better than WW2.
Lots of people hate WW2 cuz it's filled with people who don't even help in Domination.
1. Scrap about half the maps out of the game and replace them with completely new ones.
2. Rebalance player health just a little bit. Make it possible to have some actual gunfights here and there instead of instant death.
3. Pimp out the Assault Streaks a little more, make Specialist closer to the MW3 version, and completely remove Support Streaks.
Fix these 3 main things and the game would be a lot more playable.
Bonus Points: Make Create-a-Class a pick 10 system

Disposable Hero555 The Ghosts create-a-class system is the best one out of all cod games. Ghosts health was the same as all cod games before it but, they took the MW2 approach that all guns were death machines so you got killed easy. I liked that when i shot ppl they died instead of them eating bullets like a starving fat person (like I occasionally get on BO2).
players health was fine, the difference was bo2 hit detection was so bad the ttk felt much longer, ghosts kills no faster then mw1, mw2, or mw3. sure some of the maps sucked but if you dedicated time into them you slowly come around to them, i hated siege and stormfront but by the end of its yearly cycle i was dropping KEM strikes on those maps regularly. problem was the huge change from bo2. where every brainless noob can equip a smg and do well lagging around corners, where in ghosts each map needed a different approach, i truly believe that ghosts fanbase has much more adults in then as to a game like bo2 or bo3.
NERO!!! Can you help me out. I have all DLC on 360. But when i put that disc in my xbox one inwas able to backward compatible it. But my dlc doesnt come thru with it. Why? Is it cuz inpreviously had GHOSTS for the one? I have zero problems with BO2 and all the DLC!!! I really liked GHOSTS and still play to this day!!!!

yh there was but if you dedicated time into the game they really don't pose much of a problem, you just know all there hiding spots places to avoid places where to flank. i remember a game on stonehaven tdm. and i dropped 60 kills of my teams 75 not because I'm pro, but purely because every fucker in my team just don't know how to play the map, there all brainless rushers from bo2 that have 1 playstyle.

Why did the ending suck? I think it left one of the best cliffhangers in gaming. Spoiler alert:
Sure, Rorke couldn't have survived that shot, but I think it left me on the edge of my seat when I saw him take Logan by the feet. Especially that little 5 second scene where Logan is in the pit, that was cool. It left open for a ton of ideas. Like what if Logan becomes a bad guy, or what if you play as hesh and try to save your brother. It's really a great story.
The best things about ghosts were:
1:Infection
2:Search and Rescue
3:All the guns were usable and no were really bad.
4:They added eSports and clan wars which was a good idea.
5:Character customisation and create a class system.
Ghosts was actually my third favorite game in the franchise. Now I'm not saying it didn't have its problems, but in terms of the guns and overall gameplay, it's damn good fun. Playing with the guns in these games just feels natural and fluid.

Ghost was the first cod I got on the PS4 and it was perfectly fine to me I really enjoyed it wasn’t bad at all but don’t know how until today I never knew they had any type of levolution in the game lol but I remember the first time finding out the tree can fall down boy was I ecstatic

i played through the single player on the hardest difficulty it was pretty easy but the last mission was a pain, right near the end it crashed with a Direct X error, last was the last time i heard of COD Ghosts
Black Ops 2 and MW2 are still my favorites. The memories and feels are epic. I still love playing them.

Looking back on it, this game was alright. I had fun, made a few friends, and overall it was worth the $60 price tag for the 2 years I played it. (I skipped Advanced Warfare).

I think COD Ghosts had the best DLC, being able to play as the Predator and Michel Myers while already having the Juggernaut in the game. That was cool.
Don't forget the fact that weapon attachments didn't affect the perks load out spaces.

I enjoyed ghosts. It had a buncha problems yea but hell i loved the majority of guns available and how fun it was to have a good amount of versatility in each gun and a decent amount of decent maps
Funny story. My old clanmates during BO2 were completely crapping on it to the point everyone of them quit playing within the first month and the clan disbanded. Well when Ghosts came out I saw that they were all on, after nearly a year (of course I joined their party) and these same guys were going off about how bad Ghosts was and how much fun they had in BO2. I was arguing with them about all their previous opinions and they were scolding me acting like I was retarded... I deleted all of them.
Hmm honestly I'm playing IW more than the others rn. I've been addicted to Zombies in Spaceland and I've been having a lot of fun 😱

I enjoyed cod ghosts. One of the only cods I really prestiged in and went for gold weapons. I won't ever understand why people started to hate it. Even with the problems it had, I didn't notice them much.
I think a good idea for Ghosts 2 would be what Black Ops 2 did. Go back and forth in time to learn the background of Rorke and what happened to the brother.
Finally somebody giving ghosts some love. The hit detection was godly and people complain about the maps being too big. There are like 3 maps that are large the rest are fantastic and the DLC maps were worth every penny
