Can I ask a question? What size of thread is common to use for leather? I got a juki 1181N and 8700 H.. got some leather and supplies to try out some projects.
Thread I use on bags with vinyl I use tech 75-90 nylon polyester. But not sure if it’s appropriate for leather??

the liquid you use to spray when creating a gradient i presume is water, right? Can you do a gradient also with oil dyes?
Yes. Water.
Paint is difficult to gradate.
The dye used was a water-based dye for leather.

@@majutworks Oh! And just like that I found some!!! They are available on Etsy from California, USA. In this country they are called locking pins for leather craft, in case anyone in the US wants to get some. I' so glad I watched you use them in the video, Maju T Works.
I think The Buckle Guy carries them. They are called sutures in the US. Amazon carries them as well. Some are better than others. Read the reviews.
Beautiful work. I really like how you carefully lay out were the zipper goes, and how you work the excess around the corners with your awl. You make it look so easy. It is not so easy. 😉
What thickness of thread are you using?
What is the size of the initial square? Not everywhere in the pattern there is the markup that you do in the video.
The rectangle measures 215 mm x 205 mm.
The thickness of the thread is No. 8.
