In my opinion, engineer is second best hull in the game (after spectre) and architect is literally the worst hull. So this game is very fitting for channel. Although, lack of bridges is disappointing
Architect is good for one build only: Mega-mine. Nothing else.

In my opinion the engineer is very powerful. You just need to collect most of the constructs mods.
Usually not as high scoring as a weapon based build but bearable late game
Especially considering the drones buffs

I mean, I've been playing it for months, and there are exclusive Nova Drift channels, so it's not unknown. Probably Dev trying to expand consumer base

If you're really wanting it, you'll find a way. Two months of no Netflix, donating plasma, cutting back on eating out, it's not super hard to find $25
well, with the amount of games that is out there, marketing is a must, usually you spend like 70% of the budget on sponsor time and marketing.

Hey Matt, a couple of tips on the drones: you can change their formation by pressing tab. This can do a bunch of things like doubling the attack speed depending on the formation. Also, the drones will take damage for you and if you want to keep them alive, you need to actively try to stop them from taking damage. They also synergise really well with the engineer body, so that's an added bonus.
This is the third game this year I purchased because of RCE. Not only are these amazing games, but he makes them seem even more amazing than they already are. Your sponsors must be pleased

Engineer is quite fun! The main advantage of it is that you can combo powerful drones and whatnot using the increased construct limit- what is one spaceship compared to a spaceship, a whole bunch of turrets and drones, and various other things of that description?
Halfway through the video, just a friendly tip. The Railgun scales off of velocity. The ideal situation would be to max out the velocity upgrade tree as soon as possible. After that, having things like burn damage or charged shot makes the railgun insanely powerful, especially with burst.
I once got the wild mods that gave multiple copies of the next upgrade you picked and got 7 twin-strike mods. After that I got burst fire, which gave me a burst-fire railgun fan that annihilated everything in front of me. I was really squishy though so I ended up dying.
Getting the cloaked ship with the laser hurt so much. He literally never cloaked. Also, you need to press tab to use drone formations

Really cool mathematical tidbit: the map for games like this is analogous to the surface of a donut.
If you wanted to model this game's universe as the surface of a solid, you'd want to connect the left and right edges into a cylinder. Then, wrapping the top round edge of the cylinder to the bottom edge, you'd have a donut shape!
And yet, from a programming perspective, going from one edge to the opposite is simply a matter of checking if the ship is far enough past one edge and then simply adding/subtracting roughly the height/width of the screen to/from the ship's last position
and yet, even though it's a 3d shape, you see it as a 2d plane

There is a body named architeckt. the diffrence between that one and the engineer is that the engineer allows you to build more constructs faster, while the architekt only allows you to have one at a time, but a crazy powerful one.

The ultra-rare wild mod Grandeur is one of the most powerful upgrades in the game. the crash damage isn't the main point of the upgrade, the 2 extra upgrades are, and you had obsession witch will double the effects to make it 4 extra upgrades.
Spectre with the reflect sheild and the missile barrage weapon is the goat trio. I have a 200k+ run with it!
You can skip the first 3 upgrades, it doesn't waste the level and just moves you on to the next set of choices. This does not cost anything but only works on those first 3 gear choices.
This is like an ultra-souped-up version of Spheres of Chaos on RISC OS (Iain McLeod 1993) Brilliant!
I know this is sponsored, but I would love to see more of this. The upgrades trees are limitless.

I’m having a well ackchuwally moment: specter is the body that least benefits from weapons you hold and charge because the bonus effects and cloaking are lost while firing, besides that, well played!
This. Specter is basically no good bc you need to move, and shoot. The cloak effect is lost all the time unless you have a God like setup where you don't move or shoot.

If you want to be a buff, tanky engineer then Torchlight II has the Engineer class that's meant to be a melee tank type of class and they can built support summons like the Healing Bot.
There is a major update from 26th september.
Dev's intention might have been to promote it, and not the old version.
Wild metamorphosis is more than a 1-2 years old.

This takes Asteroids, Galaga, and tower defense merged into a single game. Asteroids in the movement, Galaga for the bosses, and upgrade system of most tower defense games. All already established game ideas, but in a nice looking and enjoyable experience.
Oh, hey! A game I've owned and enjoyed for about a year now! Nice to see you drifting with the rest of us, RCE. When you unlock it, the Courser body or Loaded Mines with the thermal lance weapon is REALLY funny, you should try it sometime.
This game is less an asteroids copy and more like those bullet hell games that started to pop out in Japan years ago. I do remember some of Touhou, Donpachi and Ikaruga being among the most popular back then (and probably now) in Japan.
For those interested, Touhou Koumakyou is the one that easily beat Ikaruga and also the best old bullet hell game I'd recommend you to play.
Touhou games basically made these shooting games more interesting, with anime girls, a lore, and many modding options present to these days (also in Nova Drifters). There were some arcades that ran games on x86 based systems in Japan where I used to play. Also, those Touhou games were a staple in comiket, and created a franchise and a very big fan base. Doujinshis were pretty common featuring Touhou girls, too.
Such a fun game, would love to see more of it
There was an update to the game, I think yesterday. They added a new boss, a new mode, and changed the way drones work.
The update's name is Enemies 2.0 part 2
3 new bosses, constructs got improved by a whole lot (less stupid ai, mods got better), a new draft mode that puts you into late game with 35 levels and rerolls to start, and some new super mods

That game is like a simplified Elite: Dangerous. Takes place in space. You fly a spaceship. You can't beat it without engineering. xd
This is a great game and something that can get addicting. With the new update recently or if you followed the beta. The game is so much hard to beat with the enemies.

Tip: if you choose spectre, it’s often best to choose salvo as a weapon because it does not need constant firing
In sweden we have a day dedicated to all the bridges in the world. Its called "alla broars dag" it litterally means all the bridges day. Its on the 15th October.

I've has this game since 2019. I really like to combine constructs (Drones, Mines etc) with grenade. There are upgrades that give your constructs your weapon and then with Splinter its just a lot of explosions
My most successful is full halo shield on Specter with an Ally decoy

Please take weapons that will take advantage of hull and there is button to change formation. Rockets are guided and they combo well with guidance path
You should play PLASMA, your engineering playground, you can build tons of things including your favourite, the strongest shape, A KNOB!
In my opinion one of the most overpowered builds is the spectre body with the salvo weapon , another is again spectre with rail gun and the calibrate mod

there is one combo for the engineer called the space blender. its basically an engineer orbited by 3 lance drones.
I cant believe how you managed to choose the only Body/Weapon combination that doesnt work.
Specter body doesnt work with lancem because you have to shoot constantly, so you cant stealth and get the bonus dmg from the body.
Matt, just because they’re bad guys does not mean they’re architects.
It’s to the point that I like before I click to full screen because I know it’s gonna be great
