This is incorrect...good example of someone with a CZcams fishing channel who has no clue. SO here is the real deal from someone who has been fishing longer than this guy has been alive: While there is nothing wrong with rigging it "perfectly straight" per se, bass or any predatory fish will target injured fish all day long because they are obviously an easy target. A fish is instinctually trained to select prey they will require the least amount of energy to catch...thus an injured fish is their primary target. SOOOO, rigged any bait a bit skewed is a great idea as it imitates an "easy target".

I'll somewhat disagree with Tyler. Some prerigged ones are decent. You just pay a little more for it. But rigging your own is better. More choices. More bang for buck.
