Snake Hive. Update 01 Overwintered Brood and a Half.

This colony was overwintered on brood and a half, this time with super underneath the brood box. Inspected today. All the brood was in the top box (brood box) no brood in the lower box. Brood box now at base, excluder above and the super above. Floor changed as old one rotten. Hive located next to compost heap which is home for grass snakes, hence name! Thanks for viewing. Peter
