  • As promised a little show down between Milwaukee M18 1 inch older 2867 and new 2868 model and 1 inch air. Milwaukee did a impressive job with the new 2868 model and I tell you what battery technology has come a long way ... but with that being said its still not as good as the air in numbers.
    If y'all want a better comparison let me know and we'll get the big torque wrench out and get down to the nitty gritty

    To be fair, you should of use the 12high output battery with the older Milwaukee!

    TTC tested the Milwaukee 2867 with a high output battery, which made a big difference in its performancee. So this comparison should have been done differently.

    Battery power is just convenience when you don't have air not to mention Noone wants to drag around a hose . I gotta say I was kinda impressed with that harbor freight gun lol I have a 3/4 that hasn't let me down yet luckily I don't have to use it much these days . Most of harbor freight air tools are suntech. They make cheap to high end pneumatic tools . I'd still say milwaukee is the closest your going to get to a pneumatic impact though .

      battery power is a convenience for sure on the end of the day they all have their place air and battery IMO

    I tighten them with battery power then see if the air will tighten them further or vise versus-my air will always tighten a little more than the battery tools

    You might get a little more power out of the smaller 1” wilfukyee if you use the high output 12.0 on it

    Cool video thanks for posting. You sold me on the Milwaukee 1 inch D-handle cause I'm tired of dragging out the hose for the hf air. I saw you have a torque multiplier on the bench can you test the hf and Milwaukee D-handle, and how many gallons is your compressor? Thanks again

      I did do a torque test on the new milwaukee 1" and it does what they say it'll do so 2000 Lbs. With this I used my small air compressor with a 40 gallon tank. I just moved into my new shop and didn't hookup my big air compressor yet lol

    I've seen the 1 inch pistol grip impact in action. it is the 3/4 milwaukee with the 1 inch anvil head on it. Nothing different. I bought them all I get a kick out of how these tool review guys push product. What tool review guys don't understand is that people take there hard earned money and YOUR WORD for it and buy these tools that are inaccurately tested in the field. Based off blind trust thinking that the person reviewing the tool is a professional.

    Milwaukee used to make some 28 volt tools. As big as the "big" impact wrench is, it would not be any bigger with the 28 volt battery and have 64% more power.

    • @CountryMileGarage

      @@michaelconnelly7513 You are right so my implication was that they could have made it in 28 volt and the size of the tool would have been only slightly larger if at all.

      @@CountryMileGarage yes a 1/2 hose would've made a massive difference on good air. My inch drive on 1/2 Inch running 170psi isn't even in the same league as that smaller 1inch Milwaukee here in the UK. Will break the stud off before it gives up on taking the nut off

  • @leonardleonard1316
    @leonardleonard1316 Před 3 lety +8

    Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I need to see real time work being done with those. Not a nut and bolt bought from a hardware store that hasn't been subject to the harsh environmental elements. It's a BRAND NEW clean bolt. Most mechanics don't have the luxury of working on spanking brand new equipment. We deal with the beat up rugged stuff. All I have seen is a machine that can unscrew a clean new lightly oiled bolt.
