iPad Pro 10.5 A1709 cracked broken screen replacement swap A1701

  • In this video i will transfer parts between two iPads. One iPad has a cracked screen, the other iPad does not turn on but screen is good. I will transfer the good screen onto the good iPad body.
    This process seems very complicated, but with the right tools, you too can do it. Links to parts and tools are below.
    *** One additional important thing. You must swap the home buttons for your touch ID to work again. Otherwise, the button will work fine, but no touch ID. I have not found a solution to this issue.

    hi can I ask if you replace new screen does the old home button you transfer from the old to new still function as it was before? or the touch id or fingerprint sensor will be gone?

      Thank you for watching! Yes! if you transfer your old button to the new screen, your device will keep the touchID function.

      @@jamesclaveria2906 I can't say for all models but at least this iPad(A1709), which is the iPad Pro 10.5in, true tone is still enabled in settings. So i will say yes to this model. Hope this helps
