Free procedural eyes for Blender! In this video, I will showcase the new addon, revamped shaders, additional features, and many more! I've included chapter markers, so feel free to skip to whatever is relevant to you.
what is tiny eye?
Tiny Eye 1.3 is a FREE, fully procedural, stylised eye that works in both Eevee and Cycles (Blender). It's flexibility, paired with a library of ready-to-use presets, allows for you to quickly create a wide variety of eyes.

UPDATE 5: Not working in EEVEE Next? With blender's factory settings, just turn on Raytracing. If this doesn't work, ensure that "Method" is set to Screen-Trace.

UPDATE 3: The Beige/Khaki textureless appearance issue has been fixed. If you had this issue, please redownload the 3.0 files
UPDATE 2: Some of you have reported on the Beige/Khaki textureless appearance when importing Tiny Eye. The mix node have been revised in Blender 3.4, which I had completely forgotten, and I handled Tiny Eye 3.0 in version 3.6.5 🤦♂ I'll fix this asap

You can use a mirror modifier, i got it working like this: add the mirror modifier, go to shape keys, select and enable Basis, then go to edit mode Select all and move the eye to the left or right, depending on where you want it, then disable basis again. Thx for the addon, it's really good!.

Thank you for these assets! I was also getting the black cornea issue, and tried your steps with no changes. I finally realized I had "Fast GI Approximation" turned on under light paths. After checking that off in addition to the tips in the video I was finally able to get color in the eyes again

Nice and amazing. Thank you. There is a problem for baking and using in other programs that the UV space is not correect like you showed in the video.
To fix that you can select Iris or sclera and separate by "P". Delete the other UVs (for example if it's sclera object, delete Iris UV and other UVs) and then bake each object (IRIS and Sclera) separately.
now the bake textures are correct and can be easily used in other software or without adding UV node in blender. select objects together (Iris and sclera) and export as fbx or obj to use in other programs.

This is the best eye generator I've seen and ikeeps getting better. The only thing that could make it better is if we could get a more egg shaped iris/pupil like a lot of 80s anime tended to have. Even as it is it's still a 10/10 tbh

Just a small suggestion/complaint, Would be cool if the addon spawned them at the 3D cursor instead of the world origin. This is one of the positives of using the Add menu instead of the asset browser as it would allow us to place it where we want with the use of 3D cursor.

I am a novice user of Blender and trying out Tiny Eye for a dragon I am trying to model. So far the dragon eye asset included in the asset library looks alright but wondering if there's a way to increase the size of the pupil itself? Width and height. I'm thinking of also combining pupil shapes but unsure how to do so at the moment. Any tips or advice would help! Thanks for showing off this awesome looking add-on!

thank you! yeah I technically don't have the license to use their music so it's a risk I was willing to take 😂 not the wisest decision but their bgm slaps. I'm planning to phase it out in future vids though
